I recently started going to Jack in the Box drive through due to time constrains and I think I am addicted. How about you? Any junk food lovers? What's your flavor of choice?

No it's not like wendy's baked potatoes... You can choose the material (russian salad, cheese, olive, corn ...etc.) in it and make your own custom baked potato menu... It's better than fast food..Healthy!
Actually one of my friend in UK has observed that there's no baked potatoe chain in the country... I think he is going to open a new baked potatoe saloon in London these days..

Not really. I'm a strict vegetarian so a Subway veggie delight sub is about all the fast food I eat.

I'm not too keen on most fast food. My favourite is a local "healthy food" place that specializes in salads, wraps, and smoothies. The "burgers" are served on seed bread buns and the meat in them is a slice of chicken breast. I like the chicken wraps, which are mostly shredded lettuce and carrot, cucumber, tomato, a couple cubes of feta cheese and chopped chicken breast meat. The smoothies are fab, also.
Interestingly, this local chain (Kauai) was started by a Californian who lives here in Cape Town. He couldn't find a fruit smoothie anywhere, so opened up his own place! The place has definite Jamba Juice overtones!
As far as traditional fast food goes, I have to admit a weakness for pizza (but I don't eat it much here as even the very best local pizza is bad) and KFC (but I hate chicken skin, so I peel that off...is it healthier that way?) and McD's Egg McMuffin for Sunday breakfast on occasion. -

After years of eating junk food such as McDonald's and KFC, I have taken a step back and noticed the unhealthy belly fat on me. Now I try to eat a little bit more healthy by restraining myself from fast food unless I absolutely have no other choice or I'm rushing somewhere. My favorite fast food joint is In N Outs. There's burgers and fries are delicious!

I was very addicted and stopped eating all fast food in 2001. Although I have been traveling for the last year and I will eat some fast food once in a while. Even so, If I am settled down someplace, even for a month or two, I will not eat fast food because of its addicting nature.
Traveling is strange, I was just in a habit for about three weeks eating Ruffles potato chips and Coke. Although the salt and oil from the potato chip was awesome, must have been something my body needed at that time. The cats on the streets in Turkey likes Ruffles, too. -
I only eat fast food when there's nothing else available. Or I'm away from home. Or I don't feel like cooking. Or it's time for a bedtime snack. Or I'm on the road. Or...
You get the picture. =8-) Whataburger's my first choice.
Actually, I've cut way back the past few years, as I've rediscovered the joy of cooking. Working from home several months out of the year helps too. Of course, when I'm on the road, its much harder... -
Nope.. it's just a faster way to death, and I want to live a while longer.
Only exception are fruit smoothies.. yummm!! -
Hi-I stay away for the most part. I only eat fast food if I'm out running around & get really hungry. I do have to inspect everything. I hate it when the lettuce or tomato are bad(wilted, green or unripe). If I can I do watch how it's prepared. I do get a refund if the cashier wraps my food without washing their hands first. I prefer homecooked. It's fresh & I know the preparation was to my satisfaction. I do have cravings. Do they put something in the food, so that you do crave it? I love Quiznos-

I think not being "able" to cook is a pretty over-used excuse. All it takes is a little initiative, you can buy products at the grocery store that cost much less than fast food and they are simple "add water" foods that take less then 10 minutes to prepare and can feed you for a week. Aside from fast food being bad for you it's terribly expensive when you add it up. I can't imagine you spending less than $20 a day on food. Thats $140 a week, which is about how much I spend on groceries in a month.

Not all boxed food is bad for you. For example, something I eat alot is cous cous which is just very tiny pasta (like the size of rice) it cooks literally in 5 minutes and all you do is add water and any spice or salt you might like. While my water is boiling I throw some frozen veggies in the microwave. This takes about 6 minutes, is all organic and all I did was add water. Usually this is well under 500 calories.

I think there should be a certain level of self control implemented here... but I guess I can understand you know your limitations. I hope that you do change your ways though, and others in this thread who share your opinion. Fast food is contributing towards a grossly inflated epidemic of obesity, diabetes and early death.

I call a farce. Elaine would never dream of hanging out with any guy who eats fast food. She prefers caviar by the truckload and lots of shiny necklaces.
