First of all celebrities lack time to share some personal twit with you. They always talk about themselves and their thought. They will follow you so as to increase their number of follower. Many a times some other guys twit from their account as they happen to be busy. They will not answer your twit. If you want to read their twit you can follow and rest assure they will not read your twit. So, it is a one sided affair. They happen to have huge number of fan following and your twit will be thrown to the next page within five minutes or less than that time.

    Thanks

Twitter isn't about anyone else, it's about you.
In no ways is that depressing.

I know nothing about twitter but hear some right brain deads use it including politicians. The only people following celebrities should be extremely irate mobs carrying assorted weapons,or the clinically insane who are out for the day.
Long ago charlatans like these were burned at the stake, nowadays they are "celebrated",so the only twitting allowed should be the feathered variety.

    I am a celebrity ROFL...
  4. LolitaV
no, all they do is peddle shit and attempt lame jokes. I only follow quality, sexual, weird, funny, etc... tweeples not spam, no shit.
  5. Pasquella
Never. If I do follow someone or (something) famous, it's usually a news source of some sort...
  6. avecchioni
I don't follow celebrities or anyone else for that matter. Most twitter messages I see seem completely pointless. I'm sure there's some good in it somewhere--beyond the predominance of self indulgence.
  7. Chucklington
I follow a lot of comedians. Including Stephen Fry, of course!
  8. blitzchamp
I follow some celebrities for updates on where they are at.
  9. PhotoHand
No way! They refuse to follow me in return.
  10. chrissymarie321
I forgot, I follow XH558, I suppose that could be classed as a celebrity? Just not a person, as such
  11. harriselizabeth
Yes, I followed few celebrities. Well, am glad that most of them use Twitter as form of communication between their fans.

Celebrities suck and what the hell is a 'twitter?'
    1. TLAnarchist
Hahaha! Twitter does suck and so do celebs.
  13. deviki

  14. LaurenM622
yes :-( (i'm slightly ashamed to admit that...)

Only CNN but really ask me if I read any of it...no. I usually only go on twitter when I have a stock that I think might be a good one to share and then I do a tweet I guess it is called LOL I am barely twitter literate.
  16. oktubre
only some NBA players when i have the time to check on twitter.. but i find it quite lame these days, i mean, its purpose has been depleted.. some posts there don't even answer "What are you doing?" anymore..

  18. NatetheGrate
No. Not only is it silly to do so, but a lot of them don't even write their own posts -- they hire people to do it for them. So, what's the point?
    1. timethief
Dang! You're right. I got suckered again because I didn't look at the date. Oh well, threads here don't have an expiry date and some like to resurrect them and necropost to them. (Shrug - to each their own.)
  19. NatetheGrate
Right. I think the correct answer to this query is, "No, not after the first 20 miles or so."
  20. timethief
No and I sincerely do not believe that celebrities are posting tweets. I think genuine celebrities have staff do that for them. I also think there are a lot of impostors claiming to be celebrities on twitter.
  21. alexinabox
    Yes and no.

    Yes I do.
  22. oreosmom
I do, but I generally find their updates uninteresting, so I stop following a lot them soon after I add them. But a few of them are actually interesting and are really them (ie Perez Hilton).
  23. lolosianipar
depends on who's the celeb... I follow Mrs. Kutcher thou... she's fun!
  24. Halconite
Nope. Surely they are too busy to do things without talent fees like posting tweets..
  25. khoustello
NO!-NOT EVEN WITH A RIFLE,SINCE THIS WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME.HYPNOTISE THEM INTO GOING TO A SWISS CLINIC.
