Because I have little choice in the matter. I'm probably the only atheist in the family
It's fun to pretend, though. -
I don't do religion.
I'm an adult and no one can force me to do anything without having to live with the consequences of trying to so. In addition I have extremely strong negative opinions about people who brainwash children with religious teachings, and compel them to attend upon services that they are not able to comprehend the significance of. I consider that behavior to be abusive.
IMHO the only acquaintance children ought to have with religions is exposure to the basic tenets of all world religions and philosophies via voluntary registration in comparative religion/philosophy classes offered in high school and college. Thereafter they ought to be able to make their own individual choices free from interference by their parents, other family members and authority figures.

I go to Masjid and I do so with my pleasure.
We muslims go to the Mosque (Masjid) for prayer 5 times daily, but if we don't find a mosque at near by areas we offer our prayer at our work place etc. And I do so because I think we should be thankful to our Creator for all that favours that He has bestowed upon us. For me a mosque is also like an assembly hall (Parliament Building) where we hear our Creator's (Allah) law (The Quran) being recited by the leader (Imaam) of the prayer . According to my knowledge a child comes on earth with the religion of nature (Islam) but his/her parents convert him to their own religion or belief.
Muslims who can afford to go to Makkah for them in the Quran Allah Has guided them to also go for Hajj in Makkah (Saudi Arabia) where there is a Mosque called Masjid-ul-Haraam in wich offering of prayer is of more value as compared to all other mosques found in the world. -
I occassionally go to sing Devotional Songs, but because I have more of a Jnana mentality, I have difficulty doing it these days. I've led groups of up to 1000 people in the past, but it's so hard to do it these days. I remember dozens of songs from various faiths.

After I was married and had a child, we went "church shopping" and found one we liked and agreed with on general principles. I go because I like to, but I don't go every weekend.

If you read the new testament you cannot build a temple or church. The church is the body of Christ. The people who choose to follow Jesus are his body. The temple of God is found within each follower of Jesus. We are the temple of God.
I attend a church body called New Life Family Church and if and when we build a new building it will be because we choose to not because anyone is forcing us to.
If the leadership of a church body should share a vision of a mission with the body for them to commit to instead of trying to get them to commit to constructing a building. People will support a vision of a mission more than a project. -
I attend church of my own choice.
When I was young I would do anything and everything to avoid going.
I'd pile a week's worth of dirty laundry on my bed, crawl under it, curl up and lay very still when I heard my dad heading to my room to look for me to go to church.
I thought I was very smart.
Found out years later he knew the whole time where I was hiding and just decided that if I'd go that far to avoid church that he wouldn't make me go. -
The last time someone tried to force me to do something, they ended up crying....Not really religious here...

i do go to temple from time to time with friends. Here in buddhist temples we go and make dana to the monks residing in the temple. By dana which is a term in pali language means offer so which means we offer food to the monks.
