Do You Have A Best Friend

After 13 years I found my childhood best friend on Facebook. We reconnected and have been very close over the past few months. She is on her way over my house right now and I'm really thankful to have her back in my life. Before we found each other again I didn't have a best friend, so my question to you is " Do you have a best friend?" And if so " Are you convinced that this will be the only best friend that you'll ever have?"

I have several 'best friends' really. My oldest friend I have know for twenty-five years--she's seen every iteration of Melinda--from the hopeless junkie to the "new and improved" Melinda (look ma--no more chocolate mess!). I lost contact with her for over five years at the worst of my addiction but we found each otehr in the mid-90's.

I have three other friends who are almost as close as she is--so I consider them best friends also.

That's really great that you and your friend found each other again!

Yes, I've known her for about 19 years.

We've been friends for so long and she is really a great friend, so I don't see how we wouldn't remain best friends for life. Unless one of us does something really stupid to jeopardize the friendship.

Wow, I can't imagine having more then one best friend I guess that's why I didn't have one after we parted ways.

I can't wait until she gets here I haven't seen her in about a month and we're going to drink wine and talk trash! lol!

I actually made up my mind before we reconnected that I would never have a " best friend" again. I was anti BFF lol!

I've had many best friends over the years, but no one right now. Currently, I find I don't enjoy anyone's company half as much as my own.

I have loads of friends but I only have one best friend - that person knows my innermost secrets, is loyal to me, we're not always obligated to be in same company all the time, doesn't judge me when I'm wrong, etc. Friends come and go, but my best friend is here for life.
