Do you have a relationship with a person of a different belief system?

Don't feel that you need to disclose any details.

If you're uncomfortable, just answer "yes" or "no".

Examples:
Agnostic with a Sikh partner?

Christian with a Hindu?

I am agnostic. Diane is a Jehovah's Witness.

Hey, I've been studying with JW's lately. Very neat interpretation.

      It's definitely a unique take.

No but in theory I think it could be possible to be married to someone with a different worldview. Tough, but possible. Why do you ask?

Kids can start making it tough...

      Just a question....no structured objective.

yes all my friends are of different belief s/s but we have some thing in common tht we don't believe in any religion. we believe in 1. cause there is some 1 up there and nothing else is there.
and 1 is every where then who we are to distinguish. discrimination has been done by human (fools) who don't want to accept humanism first. love first and relation first but religion first

Well, the husband and I are both Pagan - but technically he is a Heathen, and I am Pagan, and we believe in different Gods - so...

Well, I guess I should participate as well.

I'm an atheist and my female companion is Reform Jew.
We get along quite well and we both know our limits of discussion. I've attended Shabbat services with her a couple times.

Quite a few of my friends have far different beliefs than my own. Not-so-far is my marriage; I am a Protestant and he is a Catholic. That's not as odd as it once was, but even when we married (1989) it caused some ripples on both sides of our families and still makes for some very interesting (read: heated) religious discussions.

Yes. I am what they call "spiritual" in belief, and my husband is disinterested. He's not even an atheist I don't think. He hasn't given it enough thought to have "a system". I wish I could talk to him about my beliefs and not get an answer in the form of roll eye, but well, I manage.

Maybe he has other priorities? Faith/belief is not for everyone.

I have nothing against any two people having an interfaith relationship. I've a few close relatives and many friends who are in an interfaith relationship and they are all living happy lives.

But for me personally, (I'm a Muslim) - faith takes priority, and I've always pursued a relationship with a person of my own faith.

That said, in contrast it does not matter if she comes from a different culture or ethnicity.

I've a friend who's an Anglophone Canadian and his wife is a Québécoise. And the highlights of their trips to his in-laws in Quebec City is pointing out to them the Plains of Abraham, where the British defeated the French in a war which was pivotal in the creation of Canada.

It always pisses them off !

It's the only advantage to being British Jaf.
