Hello Dearies- I was just wondering how many bloggers out there think they have ADHD. I know I do, and I love to blog because it is the perfect thing for someone with a super short attention span.

Per many of your requests, I just posted my top tips for eating for ADHD and better memory and concentration if you care to take a look...

      You should try it!

I've sometimes wondered what tiny percentage of humanity is actually "normal."

I have ADD - not the hyperactivity part. It is the bain of my life. I can rarely read beyond 2 paragraphs of anything unless it's really caught my attention.

Do the meds really help? Maybe I should go ask the doc about it.

    Hi DocNicole,

I don't have ADHD, but I have bipolar disorder which is very similar in many ways if you look at the symptoms. I'll have a look if I can remember. :-)

That's been one idea. I've never been evaluated, though. The odds are better that I've got undiagnosed Asperger's (fairly good definition at www.aspergers.com/aspclin.htm ), or (more likely) something close.

The sort of personality/characteristics I've got is very much like my father's, and has shown up in two of my kids: Interested in everything; attention that can focus on one thing for hours, or skitter around like a caffeinated mouse.

It's a fascinating world, with all the different flavors of humanity in it.

This discussion topic is great! I have confirmed ADHD and I blog all day to keep my mind entertained. I actually focus and get my work done quicker. It's insane!

Oh yes i sure do! and two of my children also "inherited" it from me. I've had it since toddlerhood I think. During my elementary years I did so well in my English classes but my Math classes were the worst. I too have acute dyscalculia

And now that I'm a mom I still have not gotten over it, it seems. try speaking to me after I drink coffee or Coke and I'd be a chatterbox =)
