I hate spiders!! the only remedy I can think of is to deal to them with a heavily placed cricket bat

Heights. I get nervous if I'm any higher up than standing on a table. I took up rock climbing to get rid of it, and it actually helped a lot.

facing ur fear is a good way, but there are different remedies if the phobia is crippling to your life, their are professionals which study and work in the field of psychology which focuses on phobias to help people.

For most of my life, I was phobic about spiders, to a paralyzing degree. It stemmed from a traumatic childhood incident, and it was serious enough that if I saw a spider on the wall when I was in a room alone, I was basically held captive there until someone came and killed it--I was unable to either kill it or turn away and risk not knowing where it went. As time went on and practicality demanded it, I did learn to kill them, but it was always traumatic, and I would often imagine that I was feeling something crawling on me for hours afterward. When my daughter was three--and a good 30 years into my phobia--we were camping and I looked over at her and saw a large spider walking up the front of her t-shirt. Without thinking, I reached over and plucked it off her with my fingers and...the whole thing just magically disappeared. They don't bother me in the least, now. In fact, I'll let them wander the ceiling now so long as they don't drop down and get in my way.
