I try my best to make sure my grammar is as perfect as possible. I will sometimes go back and fix mistakes, too. If I'm re-reading something after I've posted, I will go back and correct it. Still, I break some grammar rules in the name of voice/style. I start sentences with "and" as well as "but." That was hard for me. Seriously.

Mostly. May I suggest going to the library and checking out an English Grammar book? Go over the rules and practice. I recall there was much emphasis on grammar in seventh and eight grades. School books would be the easiest way to go through this process.
Your grammar will improve if you read well written books, posts or articles. Authors tend to have produced grammatically correct literature as well as American or English newspapers.
I hope this helps you. English is one of the toughest languages to learn.

Most of the time I aim for perfect grammar; I'm a writer/editor and that's just what I do. Not everyone has to, or should, do that. Some blogs are casual, especially personal ones, and if worrying about grammar makes you seize up then don'd do it. Personally, I prefer to read blogs that have a low number of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors because too many errors make my eyeballs itch.

I'd like to think my grammar is up to par.. Espicially considering others are reading my posts .. I'd look pretty silly calling myself a writer/blogger if I couldn't spell properly lol ..
One of the first tips I received from another blogger was to go back, and check your posts a day or so after you've posted them.
It allows you to see your words with fresh eyes and help you find any discrepencies there might be. Some of the best blogger advice I've gotten yet. -
I try and when I have questions I go to this blog for answers www.one-step-forward.net/
Hypergrammar is the online textbook of a grammar-review course at the University of Ottawa. You can give yourself a thorough review of the parts of speech and the standard rules of sentence correctness — even spelling rules. Then take the review tests and check the explanations. The sections on word choice, paragraphing and organization give advice on what’s suitable for academic writing.

If you think science and writing don’t mix, have a look at what NASA (the US National Space and Aeronautical Administration) has to say about grammar, punctuation and capitalization. www.sti.nasa.gov/publish/sp7084.pdf -
I've done my level best to ensure my grammar is pristine. It would not shock me if there were errors, however.
