Nope, I hate Christmas too! Waste of time, energy, resources... And all the family-time everyone being nice to one another and how lovely it is to see each other...if you really wanted to see your family you'd see them all the time! You wouldn't need Christmas to bring you together! It's all fake nonsense but if you bah humbug people jump down your throat! ...I suppose being a militant atheist doesn't help my distaste for the season, but I hated it even before I was a confirmed atheist.

I'm kinda in between. Hubby and I celebrate Christmas in a secular fashion (his family is not Christian but they do Christmas) by putting up non-religious decorations (but very few) and exchanging gifts.

The world needs holidays that celebrate good will among men, no matter what their origins.

I'm feeling different this year. (I'm usually pretty bah). For one thing, now that I'm selling crafts on Etsy, I've been crocheting Christmas stuff for my shop. Not that anyone's bought anything yet, but having all this bright red and green yarn around my house is pretty cheery.

Second, I've joined Meet.com, and there are lots of Meetup activities in my area for the holidays, so I won't be sitting home gloomy. It really does pay to get out of the shell and interact

There's already fighting in my family about what we're doing for Christmas and where, and I'm already sick of it and thinking I'd rather go off somewhere by myself and tell them all to do what they want....

    Bah-humbug.

There was a time when I used to HOHOHO around Christmas. Then my mom passed away a few years ago and it hasn't been the same.

We do a multi-cultural celebration that is heavy on exploring the concept of family, unity, and peace, and is light on the commercialism. One year, we had a pet that needed surgery and that was our holiday "gift" to each other. Interestingly, that remains everyone's favorite memory.

That is way PC and a damn near perfect scene. I'll take a lot of presents though

Love Christmas...always have, always will. It's snow, twinkling lights, the smell of pine, homemade cookies baking, and frozen horse pucky on a cold December morning.

I used to eat Hostess Ho-Ho's. I never bah hum bug. Spirit is a necessary treasure and it needs to be filled with cosmic light.

Yeah, cosmic light, twinkling lights, sleigh bells, it's all part of being spiritually filled up with whatever floats your boat.
