Hi there
Nice blog you've got!
Can I get these answers from you?
1. How often do you go to JB? And do you normally stay over or is it a day trip?
2. What do you normally do in JB?
3. Any favourite place to visit/ eat? Why?
4. Would you be able to send 'image 35' to be published?
5. An introduction on yourself (need not be too serious
).
Thanks

Hello!
1. How often do you go to JB? A few times a year
And do you normally stay over or is it a day trip? No, I hardly go on day trips.
2. What do you normally do in JB? usually church retreats - overnight or a few days during the holidays. Our favourite hotels are M-Suites, Hyatt in JB itself, Resorts we've frequented are Pulai Springs and Sofitel Palm resort, near Senai Airport.
3. Any favourite place to visit/ eat? Why? My relatives live in Penang and Butterworth, and I love the food there, but I haven't been there for several years. Also visited KL for 3D/2N.
4. Would you be able to send 'image 35' to be published? Which one isit? letme check 1st...
5. An introduction on yourself (need not be too serious).
A typical Singaporean. hehe!

I have never been blessed to visit Malaysia. But, I have visions of much beauty. I have been blessed to make many wonderful friends through blogging from Malaysia. All I can say is that if the country itself were only 1% as beautiful as the people I have come to love....then it truly must be a paradise.

When you'll have multi-racial population, you'll have all sorts of food.
The mamak restaurants are the best place to get them ALL. They'll serve everything from nasi lemak (Malay), nasi kandar (Indian Muslim), Chapaati (Indian), roti naan (Moghul), tom yam (Siamese), nasi ayam (Chinese), teh tarik, fruit juices, exotic fruit drinks and even the westerns'. (Italian food missing)
You'll have to go to at least 5 different countries to taste them all. But luckily, there's Malaysia.
Wait till you see the virgin forests and tropical islands. Splendid. -
I haven't been to Malaysia in several years, but when I did go there I liked it. I've been to KL, and it's a very nice city. The first time I went there I was surprised at how modern it was. I didn't expect to see so many shops selling designer clothes, for example, but they were all over the place.
I've been all around Sabah state, on Borneo, and I loved it there (although it was quite hot and steamy!). And one of my favorite places in the whole world to dive is Sipadan. Without question, that is a place I could nominate as "diver heaven."
While I was in Malaysia I developed a taste for Sabah tea, and I really wish I could buy it where I live. I think it's the best tea I've ever had. -

When living in S'pore, would visit JB. Then returned for a visit after moving to Canada. We took a bus-trip to Songkla Thailand via west M'sia stopping at KL, Cameron Highlands and Penang which is aptly named Pearl of the Orient - scenic beaches. Cuisine is wonderful, especially nasi lemak steamed in banana leaf and the deserts wrapped the same way.

Hi quacheee!
I'm a Penangite! Gotta love the food: Assam laksa, cendol, Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Mee!
Something I love about Malaysia is the multi-racial concept. I feel safest walking on the streets in Malaysia despite not being a native. I can never feel the same way in the countries that I've traveled (New Zealand, Australia, UK and Europe).
I have a photoblog of my life in New Zealand at www.yileen.blogspot.com but alas nothing on Malaysia featured.

I am half Irish and half Chinese/Malay so I try to go to Malaysia every few years to see my relatives! I love that Country! I think I have a sentimental attachment to Melacca but KL is great fun. The food, the people, the beaches... what's not to love! I have been to both Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo, and I have to say.... Malaysian Borneo is so, so beautiful, having the tallest mountain in SE Asian located there, and lots of wildlife resorts, it's a true experience!
