do you leave comment in others blog

i do,but i just leave comment at the topic that i can give a good answer or opinion.how about you guys?do you like to leave comment in others blog?

I surely like to comment on other blogs I read, provided I understand the post fully and the topic is of my interest.

I comment often when I enjoy a post. To me its part of giving back to the person who took the time to write the post. I also tend to post more comments in blogs where the writer makes an effort to engage the reader by asking for feedback. This is doubly true for me when reading political or other opinion blogs.

Yes, I comment, if I can add something meaningful to the discussion that has not been written before. A blog should not be used like a forum or -- worse -- a chat. It's about the value and it heavyliy depends on topic, on the situation, on the post and on previous comments, how to respond in a good way. Something like, "Great site, thanks for your post" is appropriate in some places, but not in all. The shorter the better. If you have to say, sooooooo much, then you probably should write your own article about the subject and leave a trackback. -- John

  I'm sorry but I'd rather get a long thoughtful comment than a generic great site one, cool article one. At least with the first it shows that the person actually read the article and isn't just looking to get a backlink. If you look at the really successful blogs, the comment section does often read like a forum. People respond not only to the topic but to one another and it makes for more interesting reading and may make even more people jump into the fray and voice their own opinions. I can't imagine why you would think that's a bad thing.

  I;'m the same way antibarbie. I'd prefer a paragraph about why someone thinks I'm wrong and why they disagree with me over a dozen generic "nice post" comments.

I try to post a comment on just about every blog I visit unless it reads like an extremely tacky giant overdone ad, I don't have the time at that moment and plan on coming back to comment later, or the niche is something I find very unappealing (such as a blog about teaching God's glory when I'm an Atheist) and I can't find anything positive to bring to the discussion.

I comment often, provided the blog doesn't ask me to create an account to do so. I flatly refuse to register with a blog just to comment on a post.

  Why? When I first set up my blog, as a total newcomer, I thought to have comments open to anyone, but then realized there are some cruel people around. Due to the sensitive nature of my blog (on child abuse) I wouldn't want to be party to an "attack" on someone who felt safe enough to comment honestly... Generally speaking I'm adamantly against anything that smacks of censorship, but do believe in some protection of the young and vulnerable. I'm always curious about different perspectives so please enlighten me on your position, which seems so determined. Thanks!

I have blogs I comment on regularly because I read them routinely I may find a new blog every now and again I comment on and a rare blog I don't read that I comment on. I don't usually check to see if the blogger has responded though because I don't have time for that.

I leave comments only on topics that are of my knowledge, or if I have questions about something. If it's a funny and entertaining post, I always leave what I think... But it's the "genuine" comments that I leave---not 'hey great post'! I hate that.

i found that some blog will auto create a back link at response section,do you guys know any blog hosting like that?i got know it through technorati,when i response at someone else blog post,the system will automatic create a back link to my blog,awesome!

You mean like a dofollow comment...you got to remove this code found in your blog..rel="nofollow". Its very simple and it will appear on technorati once you leave a comment. =)

Im trying to comment on 4,000 blogs per year. Only blogs though where I know something about, or where I have a blog about also.

You can use stumbleupon and find new blogs that way. The mroe comments the better.

Yes, especially after reading Yaro Starak's book. He made it part of his schedule to comment on ten blogs a day, to slowly build traffic.
Of course, spammers take this and ruin it, but good comments help a blog. Me and many other bloggers reward comments by removing all no follow tags from comments.
That means if you comment on my blog, you get a link back to your site.

Yes I do leave comments in others blog if I can't help myself but add more info about the conversation.

I also enjoy praising the blogger for a very well-thought of post but I don't usually just write something like "nice post." :-)

I think comments are the one of the cornerstones of blogging. I try to leave thoughtful comments whenever possible, but I especailly appreciate those people who take time to leave comments on my blog. In some cases, the comments have been more important than the original post in answering a key question about a rare or mysterious document, manuscript, or historical piece of ephemera that was featured.

Just comment if you think you want to say something. A compliment, an addition or whatever. Nevermind you just say "nice post" if you really meant it. Only arrogant bloggers hate comments..

BUT PLEASE: NEVER comment for the sake of getting a link back. Stupid useless comments are the product of this attitude.

I always try to leave a comment. Sometimes I might go to a blog and it's all advertising and a product I'm not interested in, so I don't say anything, but otherwise I try to leave a comment. If you don't leave comments, how are you ever going to meet people? On my other blog, I've made some wonderful friends because of visits and commenting.
