Did I mention before that I am a smoker? Well.. Yes I am smoking cigarettes since long time back, sometime I think about quitting smoke because I don’t like to hurt others with my behavior especially in the public places, and I don’t mind to be in non-smoking places, it’s a good chance for me to forget about smoking for a few hours!

i am a happy smoker. I am happy because I smoke in my car, in my sunroom, never in my house and of course, not in restaurants or bars b/c it's been banned. I do not smoke near a bunch of non-smokers out of courtesy.
    1. hishaman
Good! I do the same! thanks for sharing.

    5. hishaman

Would you like to be sued for using products made by third world children? Or for driving a car that releases more toxins than what amounts to burning a leaf?

Ok if you want to quit look at the ad on top it says you can quit in 7 days. I had hubby quit with patches and such but I litw up a cigar one day and he started back. Little did I know that I should have never smoked it in front of him.
    1. hishaman
I think that maybe doing it together could be better, so you can support each other!

In New Zealand where I live, it's illegal to smoke indoors in public buildings. I'm hoping that it will soon be made illegal to smoke in any public place, inside or out (it's not likely, but I'm hoping for it). Why? Because I think it's incredibly rude for people to exhale toxic fumes anywhere near where I can breathe them in.

It's incredibly unpleasant. If I lived in a country where I could easily sue someone for having a negative impact on my life, I'd be suing people like crazy.

Now, don't get me wrong. I couldn't care less what people get up to in their own homes, or away from public. If you wish to slowly poison yourself and risk vastly increased cancer rates by smoking, then go right ahead. But don't put my health - or even my comfort - at stake just to satisfy your addiction.

I completely agree. Luckily, I live in one of the progressive US states that as banned public indoor smoking. So once you get past the pod of people smoking right outside the doors, it's soooooooo nice to enjoy a restaurant or a bar. Plus, my children are not slowly dying of secondhand smoke at work.

i also live in a state that's banned indoor smoking, but the thing that bothers me the most is when people walk or stand around just HOLDING a lit cigarette - not even smoking it! i've asked people in parks or on my campus to please either smoke their cigarette or put it out, because as much as i hate smoking, i hate unsmoked burning cigarettes even more!!!

Well I so try not to offend anybody, but if someone wants ta just start somethin,I'm all like ...get over urself ...u found me to tell me smokin is bad....DUHHH
What's next einstien...I can't stand it when people seek u out to tell u how bad u are...

    AS IF!!!
  13. CentricStudios
Until we stop burning coal and fossil fuels I don't think smoking is all that bad. People that are against smoking have a slanted perspective. Instead of going after smokers lets get the big guys out of the way first.

I smoke tabacco-only's every so often. There will be months amd months when I wont smoke at all. I think it's a nasty habit.
    1. hishaman
I think tobacco is the best! it's from the nature! even thought I don't recommend smoke to anyone because I suffer from this my self.
  15. TheCrazyhorse
Lucky I am not smoking! It would be unfair for me to be accused of secondhand smoke violation.
