I love my name! I wear jewelry with my name on it and love writing it. -

I used to not like it, but I do now -
I used to HATE my name. Soooo sterotypical of what a HOLLY is,BUT it has grown on me and I have come to love my name. It is really a happy name and now I love it. -
I always wondered why my mother name me what she did and two years ago I found out what my name meant and it fits me. -
I'm not the biggest fan of my name, but people barely use it to call me. Either they already have my attention or they go "Psst! Hey!" or something similar.
Most of the people I know online refer to me as Friday, and I'm fine with that.-

I am very satisfied with my name. Larry means "crown". I believe God has crowned me for great things. More important than liking our name I think we need to like ourselves. By doing so we will appreciate everything about our life. -

I never used to like it. Now it's part of who I am. Even when I use a pseudonym when writing stories or books, I tend to use parts of my name, or anagrams of it or similar. -
I like my name in English (my legal name) but not the chinese name my school gave me when I started out there. (My parents don't speak chinese so obviously they couldn't give me a chinese name) -
I love my name, Madison. It's different and not that many people where I love have it. I prefer to be called Maddie by my friends though as I think Madison sounds a bit formal.-

Don't like mine at all. It might not have been so bad in Australia (it was one of the most popular names for a couple of years), but coming to the US, the only people here with my name are um, old, talking in thier 70's and 80's. I have been mistaken on the phone as being older simply because of my name. I've lost count how many AARP letters I've recieved lol!

I've always liked it, when people don't try and cut it short. My name is my name. You can't cut it in half and act like it's the same. -
I'm indifferent. It is used as a slang term for a toilet or a protitute's client, so that's not that swell...-

I'm actually the Third, and my son is the Fourth, so I've got no choice but to love it. Since I am proud up and down of my family, I do love it. -
It would have been nice if my parents asked me first, but, since they didn't, I'll live with it. -
My name is Laura, middle name is Leigh. Some people out them together when they talk to me, which is fine sometimes I guess. Overall, I never did like my name much. Not only did I think it was a name of an older lady, but when I was in junior high, I had 5 friends name Laura or Laura-Leigh. Not origional at all.-

Interesting question, I'm sure some out there feel forced to change their own name. Being called Mark seems simple enough, and thankfully hardly anybody around here actually has that name. -

My name is just one of my identifications. It doesn't tell all who I am. By the way, hope "G" will put you on the "spot"... -
i love my name... and i have made spelling and combination versions of the same. more than anythings, loved ones and friends have created some cute names to address me... and i love all the names.
One more thing, my name is pretty common in my country, but now that i am married, i've a unique new last name and i am loving it!

I didnt mind my name, but my surname made life hell for me
Then I realized, I was the reason my surname is hell for me
Then everything was ok once I stopped being shy of it -
Oh I really love my name and I always get compliments for my name. It is unique and meaningful. I feel so lucky to get this name. I was named by my grandfather, so all thanks to him for giving me this wonderful name.
