Do you wake up most mornings, passionate about your day or your activities? I find it makes such a difference to my outlook since I have injected passion in my life!

This past week-end I had a glorious time with like-minded people and nature in the spectacular Adirondacks,NY.

  6. agapelife
Not many people can say that they are passionate about their work! Great!
  7. jafabrit
yes! and I agree it makes a huge difference. I am passionate about living the life of a full time artist, enjoying my home, my family, my friends, my dog, enjoying where I live. I take nothing in this life for granted and grab each day or moments in the day (coz I have my bad days or cheesed off moments) feeling blessed and cherishing those moments.
  8. richrf
Nope. Just taking it very easy and taking it all in as it comes.
  9. agapelife
@richrf - Looks like you're PASSIONATE about your easy-going lifestyle, "taking it all in as it comes" Great!
    @jafabrit
You said the magic words, "not for granted", "feeling blessed" "grab each moment" Wonderful!
Waiting for more passionate BC members to share? That's what people with a passion for life/living do? Their passion overflows in words and actions!

Most days i am passionate about life...I have down days and I have to rev myself up. I am passionate about making a difference in my community, I want to advocate for those who have mental illness and educate the public.

I want to live life as if its a miracle and live with gratitude. I live with faith for tomorrow and don't stop to think too much about what is wrong with my life. I focus on what is right and keep brave!
  11. agapelife
Yes, you have the right focus!Sometimes, having a couple of postive-minded companions to validate and support.
  12. katelynjane
    Who is Passion?
  13. caseye
Living life with passion is the key to creating a life you truly enjoy. So many people are waking up and going to bed everyday completely numb. It's so NOT the way life is supposed to be. With passion - everything changes.
  14. agapelife
You've got it lady! I'm so happy for you. I am going to check out your blog in the next few days.

  21. HollytheHousewife
Uh,like is there anyother way to live?
  22. TonyB
Definitely strive to live my life with passion and inspire others to do the same. I feel like it's one of my purposes in life to do this. The key question to ask is where passion comes from? How do you create a life that is full of passion? It seems like passion comes from continuing to grow and learn and when you are giving to others.
    1. TonyB
      yeah and everyone believes you!
    2. dbowles1017
They should. I dread my days. I wake up, look for a job, get rejected by every place, then go home and get on the internet
    3. TonyB
      what kind of job?
    4. dbowles1017
any job. I got more bills than money.

But I have class all day Monday and half a day tuesday, so that limits a lot of my full time opportunities
    5. TonyB
where do you live? what kind of job are you looking for? what are you studying? lots of online opps. maybe it isn't a regular job that you need.
    6. dbowles1017
      Kansass.
I'm getting my EMT B right now, and hopefully, I can catch a fire department in a hiring cycle in January.

I'm looking for a job to get me through the next couple of months. Flexible hours. I've looked into some online jobs, but the majority of them seem like scams
    7. crawler
Good Luck Derek, in your Job search. Like they said, success is all about moving from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.
    8. dbowles1017
I never had any enthusiasm lol. Don't really want to be a waiter honestly.
  23. HollytheHousewife
    @ DB

Well why don't you do fire fighting with it and lots of counties help pay for fire fighters to be emt certified. Training for fire fighting is shorter than emt certification and then at least you could pay some bills. Then on top of that all the fire fighters/EMT 's I know in my town have something on the side bc it's 4 on and 4 off. That would give you time to do comedy and then get famous and then give me 10 % for giving you this great idea so I can promote my cause save my country, then retire to being a mom again and having an absolutely FABOULOUS time doing it.

    I mean it's totally WIN/WIN situation HAHA
    1. dbowles1017
Firefighters are required to be EMT-B certified. The stations around here are 1 on 2 off. Or some stations get wacky like 2 on 2 off, 1 on 3 off, 2 on 2 off.
  24. HollytheHousewife
Yea,but you could get whatever certification you want because they help pay for the classes. That's just the reqirement but they'll still help pay for some of the classes.
    1. dbowles1017
around here you are required to go through the school. A bunch of city jobs are all connected through an organization. And they require it before being hired.
  25. crazyTsu
Depending on what you mean. If you recognize the blue flame of passion hidden deep in the heart, then yes
  26. agapelife
@crazy Tsu - I gave examples when starting this discussion, which is what I meant.
@TonyB- I know you are - you invested in BC.Very introspective questions to ask -"How do you create a life that is full of passion?" with the emphasis on "you create" Much too frequently, we want to depend on others, our financial status, etc to give us the passion and that stifles the creativity. So the other question "Where does your passion come from?" leads to the answer of the duration of the passion of living!
  27. BlogDogW2
Passion is my soul. I have a big heart and do and say most things with passion. And I definitely write with passion.
  28. Onchong
"The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions."

    Alfred Lord Tennyson
  29. Agit8r
    Passion means suffering... so, yes
  30. agapelife
    @OnChong and Agit8r
If you read the opening lines of my discussion, your answers show a different type of passion, then what I was referring to.
  31. timethief
Not always. But when when I listen to my heart and take the time to prepare for the day I can live that day with passion. What helps me to do that is loving my "self" enough to be faithful to doing the inner work I must do to prepare to be creative, passionate and joyful throughout the day.

Affirmations: Today I will record positive things in my life and make no record of the negative. Today I will embrace all that is beautiful, positive and good. Today I will take frequent 5 minute time outs to recount all the things I am thankful for.
  32. agapelife
@TT - Agreed. Initially you have to put the effort and that is the challenging part, but if you do it frequently, ie daily, it becomes a habit.
    1. timethief
Sometimes I fall off the wagon. But it doesn't take long until I get with the program and get back at it again.
  33. agapelife
    TT- That's the spirit. Cheers!
  34. sjtavo
I am absolutely passionate about life. I work about 60 to 70 hours on a bad week at my job as an accountant but I am still passionate about it. I love the knowledge I have, working with the Executives and putting out a quality product. I am passionate about my hobbies, my house, my family and my friends. I wake up every day determined to be in a good mood and attack life with gusto. I start and end each day with an I love You to and from my best friend, I talk to my mother almost every day, I try to write every day. Without my passion for life, I'd have nothing.
  35. agapelife
@sjtavo- You've got it! "Passion for life"
  36. HollytheHousewife
I definately have a passion for life
  37. Haste
With me its more like a passion for living, experiencing different things, either good or bad. All events come with time and actions.
    1. agapelife
@Haste....."either good or bad." Yes that's the spirit.

@Holly - that's what is wonderful about you - no matter what the challenges, you try to live with passion!
  38. Zpoet
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Especially now that I'm unemployed and I'm writing again. Following my passions after a long hiatus!
    1. agapelife
@Zpoet - checked your post - yes you know how to find passion in life!
  39. asoothsayer
The love for my family is passionate, but it is extremely slim for my job. Everyday I strive to be in a place where I can "work" with what I am passionate about, but I've come to the realization that 99% of the world do not have jobs that inspire them, instead it's using the passion in your non work life to keep you positive in your job. But, you can never give up striving to reach your goals otherwise there is little point to living.
    1. agapelife
@ asoothsayer - yes never give up and one day an occupation will come along that you're passionate about.
    2. thetravellingteddi
I agree! and especially during tough times like the current economic crunch, i find that passion alone don't put food on the table and send the kids to school. Haha!

Passion is really what keeps one going and a must-have but ultimately, its being realistic is what matters.

So just be passionate with life Cos then, everything else will be just slightly easier to get by!
  40. travelingangela
hell yeah! i try to be passionate all the time
