   i wish i was good at photography. i love to check out some of the photo sites where professionals share their work. i am just in awe of the eye they have for capturing that perfect shot.

    Basically the idea is that you will put them up on your social networking sites, and change the status to the picture of the day.
    
    DAte to start is Feb first, and we are progressing through the alphabet.

    I love photography for various reasons;
    1. Memories of experiences, places, family & friends (& to be able to share those with others.)
    2. The ability to bring beloved nature scenes (& whatnot,) into my home.
    3. To use as reference materials for painting.
    4. To help me identify a new plant, tree or bird (I may not remember all of the details by the time I get back to my books & resources, otherwise.)
    There's probably more than that, but that's a good start off the top of my head.

    Photography is an excellent way of sharing a vision that perhaps no one else has seen. I live in the city but often escape to the quiet of nature. It is these times where I capture some of my best shots. With peacefulness in my soul, some of the most basic visions are brought to life with great meaning. Love the photos on your blog.

    Mine is just an Olympus, and my photos have simple balance and composition... but I do love 'capturing' the moments of our lives and the beauty of the world around. I am fascinated by color and pattern, and often, when I'm without my camera, I wish I had it.
    
    So, I guess that's a yes.

    A photo captures a moment in life that MAY never happen again and photography, in its myriad of styles, can capture a moment of life, in its infinite myriad of styles. A photo can also be a glimpse into the soul of the photographer, as seen through his eyes. The possibilities are endless....and a lot of fun!
