My brother Lokust (stage name, obviously) has released a rap album, and it's pretty damn good (not just by (c)rap standards).
Whereas most rap songs glorify the "gangsta" lifestyle, Lokust's songs are largely critical of it.

I love mostly all music... nothing wrong w/gangsta rap.. some is brill!

The music might not be bad, but the messages are far from intellectually stimulating. Promoting gang mentality and groupthink agitates my gag reflex.
