I have heard lots of things about how they hate their in-laws especially their mother in-laws.

How do you treat your mother in-law? Is she good to you?

We have religious differences, but they're easy enough to avoid. Besides, she lives in another state, so I don't see her often. She's a very kind woman in her 90s. Can't (& wouldn't,) say anything bad about her.

Except for differences in outlook on life (traditional older generation foreign native versus modern foreign native in US) all else is fine. Problem is, I know their life but they don't know about mine
