Do you promote your blog on YouTube and other video channels? I have seen some very cool blogger videos on here. Do share them in this thread. Here is one I made a while back www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQlOW_Co2MU
If you do make videos, how much traffic do you get from them? Do other bloggers embed your videos on their blogs?

I've made 2 videos so far - and actually I made them the day before I started the blog (they then became the subject of my initial posts).
I got some pretty good viewership of one (I think it's around 5,000 views), but the other only got around 1,000. I liked them though, and am still proud of them. I think I've posted them here before.-
Sure:
Here's my tribute to Curlin - the horse you see in my avatar everyday - for winning 2007 Horse of the Year honors. When you hear the Preakness call ("Curlin...courageous!!! And chasing home!!!") - I was there that day and screaming my face off:

And here's my tribute to the overall 2007 Triple Crown season. It has the same Preakness moments as the above video, but the Derby and Belmont video/pictures are unique:

After making these, I decided to blog. That was roughly 11 months ago to the day!

No I don't but I'm subscribed to some great vloggers. Here are links to a couple of them.

I take some video, but I don't really promote it. Most of it's related to my blog, so it's relatively mundane (i.e.; most recently a snippet from our pontoon boat tour of Bayou Lacombe.)
I did shoot a video diary of our Hurricane Gustav experience, however, from the night before to 4 days after. The videos & relevant maps/photos are all in one place in my blog post, if anyone's interested.

(I think Part X is the most "wow," although the part with the kid going past my house in a canoe is interesting, too.) -
