Do you object photography of sexy nature?

I had taken a series of photographs for a friend. Her boyfriend disliked it and we ended up scrapping the whole series of shots.

Girls tend to tell me to reveal their best sexy nature through photography as to remember their youth.

Do you aggree?

  A few female clients of mine consider the word sexy as "eye sexy". Not body sexy.

  Even with artistic nude, it depends on the viewers' cultural background and personal beliefs.

  Pornography is basicly failure on the photographer's part that failed to elicit the intended mood desired. Instead all viewers see were exposed body parts

  Thank you for the comments. The funny thing about the word sexy denoting something rather beyond morality. You are right about respecting the girl's wish.

Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is sexy.

Some "sexy" photos DO offend me...others do not. I don't care for in-your-face sexuality: I find it crude and vulgar. And a lot of "artistic nudes" are just boring. But there are those occasional photos that evoke a smouldering sensuality, without trying too hard, that I truly appreciate. Interestingly, those are usually black and white shots!
