Do you schedule your posts? Do you let your readers know that you'll schedule posts because you are going on a vacation?

Answer: Sometimes but not frequently.

Answer: Heck no. I don't want to increase the amount of spam. I answer comments when I'm on vacation, and I don't want to make any announcement that may lead to getting fewer comments or losing subscribers.-
TT, technically speaking, how does a person schedule articles ahead of time? I have some written already, and would like them to appear during my holidays.

at times I pre-write posts and schedule them ahead, although lately I am mostly behind and struggle just to get Something up. OTOH, having and keeping to a regular and announced schedule can help you to receive regular visitors-
I do this too... When there's a spurge of 'you gotta read this' material it needs spreading out a bit to prevent hyper-bloggeration. Kudos. 50/50.

I just started my blog and it's really an extension of my website favfashionsites.com but what I find to be helpful is to start writing a post as it comes to you and save it. Lets say you write like 3 in one day save it and post it one at a time. Like i said I'm new but this is what I am going to do. btw add me as a friend

no but since Iam doing 100 recipes in 100 days I have to do it every day not just monday thru friday. the weekend is for family -

Sometimes I do, but it mostly depends on the topic. -
Yes- I post on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for my humor blog, and Wednesdays and Sundays for my thrifting blog. -

I went to Canberra for a conference and scheduled, without total confidence, the next post to appear while I was still away. It worked like a dream!
Now I am really getting into the swing of scheduling posts -

A lot of times...and backwards. -
Yeah, I operate my blogs almost entirely through scheduling. Not sure why - I think I like the idea of routine 'publication', like magazines. Plus it lets you write a bunch of blog entries in one rush and not just swamp your blog with them. -
Sometimes I do-sometimes I don't; but I just figured out what days of the week my two blogs are most visited, so I'll post on or before those days. Pre posting is great! -
No, I don't. I try to post when I can. Sometimes that's three or four times a day, sometimes once in 2 weeks.

its tactically necessary in this fast moving world!
