No. It stinks and makes me cough. Why does anyone pay for an early, painful death?
  8. CrotchetyOldMan
Both of my parents and all 4 grandparents died from smoking related illness. I call that a clue to avoid it.

After 18 years of a 2-pack a day habit (menthols, nogal!), I quit. That was in 1986. Now I am allergic to tobacco smoke!
  14. drjay1966
I used to smoke the weed, but left that behind.
Never saw the slightest point in tobacco.
  15. bloggerharis
Hmmm good for you all :-)

  17. aningeniousname
I have been a non smoker for two and a half weeks, I think in around a two months times the craving will have waned enough for me to stop licking cigarette adverts.

Have never smoked. My grandmother lived with smoking related emphysema for about 10 yrs, fighting for every breath. Finally, her body got too tired and she died. She smoked till the end.
  22. jafabrit
I used to love a ciggie now and again, but had to quit cold turkey. I started to get slight asthma as I got older and one day from stress coughed up some blood and that was it.

  25. JanelleV
I don't but I have a lot of family members & friends that do. It's a nasty habit -- and it's SO hard to quit!
  26. Aluajala
I tried to smoke mentol cigarets several times and.. um didn't actually understand why to do it everyday. I.e. I smoked tens of sticks one weekend but then went to work on Monday and had no need to smoke at all and no addiction or whatsoever.
    1. bloggerharis
Happy that you left it :-)
  27. ThriftShopRomantic
No, and I'm so allergic to so many pollens and other irritants, I can only imagine what my breathing would be like if I were a smoker.
  28. positivb
I am incapable of even comprehending a valid reason for starting smoking.

According to several doctors at the age of 50 has the lungs of an 85 year old that smoked 50 a day for the last 70 years of his life, cept my father never smoked.
  29. amitchopra22
i never smoked yet and i will not smoke for my whole life for the sake of this earth and for me too
  30. RTBjr73
My wife and I both smoke, but we do not smoke in the house, or the car when the kids are in it. We refuse to make are kids suffer from our bad habit.

My wife is trying to quit right now with the assistance of prescription. And then I will attempt it. (A doctor recommended that we try not to quit together, that it would be too stressful for us with 3 kids...lol)

Our 2 year old already knows what a "smoke" is, because he sees us smoking outside.
  32. JaydenVasara
i smoked cloves when i lived in europe the last time, but now i don't smoke anything. i do too much cardio - i can't breathe at the gym when i'm just around a smoker
  33. gabgab

i think i was about to really succeed in quitting smoking by jogging for an hour 2 times a week ...

i stopped the last two weeks due to too many deadlines at work .... so hard to start over again ...
    1. bloggerharis
I suggest u dont start again..atleast after reading the post
  37. Goddy
I used to. And that was four (4) packs a day. I was a chain smoker. It had to be at least four (4) sticks one smoking time or I would not be satisfied. However, due to chest pains, I decided to quit smoking. Quitting required very strong will power. It took me some eight (8) to ten (10) years before I was able to finally and successfully quit. Thanks for that very sensible question!
  38. busylizzy
One grandparent smoked (liked a chimney) and died of lung cancer. My dad smoked a pipe off and on but he could go months without. Now he doesn't smoke at all. My brother smokes (like a chimney) but my sister and I don't. None of my friends growing up smoked so I've never even been offered a cigarette. When I was 22, I was offered a joint by a guy I met at the beach in Hawaii but turned him down.
  39. wehireu
I don't smoke anything. It does not agree with me very well. I like my memory and my lungs.
  40. jana2009
no & no one in my family is smoking
  41. bloggingmix
thank god i'm allergic to smoke... some of my friends do... but they know i'm allergic so they don't smoke when i'm around...
  42. HalfCrazy
Not a smoker. I'm too lazy to be caught up in a vice that needs you to buy packets and packets lol. A few of my friends smoke. There are times I want to try it just to know what it feels like but I really keep away from it.
  43. meridance
No, I really don't get the attraction to smoking...why?
  44. saiffarooqi
No, i don't smoke at all.
a few years ago i tried a cigarette just see how does it feel ... i didn't like it and i neither disliked it, but i didn't really understand that what is in it that makes people get addicted to it. there's nothing special about it.
after that one cigarette i didn't even think of trying another one.
    1. HalfCrazy
Well I think it's very appealing to some because they think it's cool?

This remind me something, I am the one who lucky to be a trusted boy in a boarding school before, what I do was then take a small opportunity in using my locker as a safe deposit box. (I am so broke at that starting time because of etc etc etc) Its real safe and nobody was likely want to inspect my locker. So there were packets of cigarettes, handphones, jeans (that school did not allow any jeans you know), and of course so many small underground stickers/zine/cassettes, even someone was likely trust my locker, hiding there when being chased by the discipline teacher. My bad but now I am not like that anymore, today, I am nice like before but no plastic anymore (I think :)).
  47. ladylyf

I smoke. Pack a Day. I jog and i exercise daily to keep healthy. this is my only problem and i hate the fact that i'm addicted. Tried quiting in the past with no success. Trying this tablet called champex start on monday. Wish me luck.
  51. cookiejeans
    I don't smoke.
  52. nanaoise
I don't, but my dad does... It's actually because of him that I'd rather not smoke. The scent of the cigarette irritates me.
  53. gosmelltheflowers
    Only after sex..

    I'm a 10 a day man!

    Thanks www.gosmelltheflowers.com

I maintain that only idiots choose to start smoking in the first place. My parents smoke but none of my friends do, we have the common sense not to try it in the first place.
    1. suvrokroy
So smokers lack common sense.Wow!Good deductions
    2. sisterofmercy
In my personal opinion, yes they lack common sense. I don't see how one would believe that it is a good habit to take up in the first place.
    3. HalfCrazy
I agree with sisterofmercy. Definitely not try things when you already know the effects. But then again, life is short, sin a little and kill yourself slowly lol.
    4. FameofShame
Well, most people start smoking when they are teenagers and most teenagers don't always use common sense.
  55. JaydenVasara
i don't smoke - i used to enjoy an occasional clove, but my cardio workouts are so intense now, that i had to give them up. i still enjoy hookah every once in awhile, but i can't smoke regular cigarettes...not my thing
  56. MyohMy
No, I don't smoke. It damages your body, costs too much, and any habit that is hard to stop is not for me. I'm easily addicted to things. : )

I DO!! and I'm not worried bout it!

I smoke cigars. Cigars are not the same thing as a cigarette. A cigar requires half an hour to an hour to sit and enjoy one, so it really requires a different mindset then a quickie cigarette. A quality cigar is one of the finer things in life.
  59. Euroangel
huhu! i hate smoking..i get migraine when i inhale it...
  60. dsriharsha
Yep.. trying to quit.. but hard
  61. JamCan
I am smoke-free for 1.5 months now! I feel soooooooooooooooo much better!!!!
  62. Fv1878
I smoke ... because my grandmother smoke. People who feel illness will not smoke..?
  63. Sebastyne
I hate the smell so much you can't believe me. My grand father died of lung cancer at the age of 50 after smoking since he was 12. Gives a good reason not to go there.

So that's a no. I don't smoke and have never tried it.

ROFLMAO -- my post dissapperdid.... LOL... Uhm - I said basically:

ROFLMAO -- my post dissapperdid.... LOL... Uhm - I said basically:

    I AM A SMOKER

But - I WILL QUIT --- after I get through this court case. It's very stressful - and I know that if I didn't smoke I'd gain 400 lbs.

And 400 lbs is a lot worse on your heart and lungs than 10 cigarettes a day.

Besides - you can still get laid when you smoke... But - at 400 lbs?

    *giggle*
