Yes they are wonderful. They remind us of what it was being a child. I had so many friends as a child but I don't get to see them anymore.

Do you remember how it was? Running under the rain, swinging on trees and going to one another's house just to share a tale or toy.

MIne was Nonoy. I was bullied in 1st grade but Nonoy was very strong. He defended me and I used to escape from the class just to sit by his side(though he was already in second grade). The teacher found this amusing and would come over and smile at me.

Name a childhood friend and your fond memories with that person/persons.

Sorry to hear that. As they say, familiarity breeds contempt. But then again I won't judge because I don't know the whole story.

Yeah I remember that. You also probably remember the story of a friend who became schizophrenic-that's the same person...wow see what time can do to us all!

Thats right, and to think that is what has happened in such a short amount of time - what will happen in years to come?

Ramses is my more dearest childhood friend. Our families live (still) one block apart from each other. He was born in October, I in November. We went to kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school together. I convinced him to start dating his wife, went to their wedding, know their daughters. We are almost family.

Well, they all have kids, and full-time jobs, and the straight up family life. I don't really have much in common with them anymore. And I hate the "Do you still talk to *insert old flame*?" question. No I don't talk to that person, as a matter of fact, I don't even know if they are on the face of this planet anymore.

Oh yes. But i only got that with my high school pals. high school was more competitive.

The friends I grew up with either aren't the same, or live some where else and we are no longer in contact....sadly.

Nah. Friends came and went too often. Childhood friendships were short.

There were a few friends who I knew for many, many years, up until high school graduation but we weren't really close. More like "I know your name, you know my name, we're nice to each other" friends.

I also had a few who I considered my best friends in the sense that they, uh ... well, they were the best. But, as soon as high school was over, we lost touch.

Yes, I've kept in touch with two of them for many years. And now just this last week, scarily, a bunch of my old classmates seem to have found me on Facebook.

I am somewhat amused they all seem to think it was so very hard to find me... When I have two blogs in which I write under my own name, and have been blogging for over three years.
