Do you think Mexican immigrants have a right to be in the US, Green Card or not?
I have a good friend that has been living in CA for about one year without a G-card. Do you think this is wrong?
My friend moved to the USA for work because his family was starving from low income. I boarded him in my house for 4-5 weeks until he could get a place to stay.
Was that wrong of me to do?

This is a touchy topic. Immigrants of any ethnic background are okay to stay in the US while illegal immigrants are not. It is great that you are helping your friend, but you are also putting yourself at risk for helping him because you are breaking the law.

Such a hot topic! I wouldn't separate Mexican immigrants from other immigrants as far as rights goes. Whatever the law says, it should be followed by everyone. Why no green card? Is there a reason why your friend cannot get the proper paperwork going so he or she can stay and eventually become a citizen? Your friend needs to make a plan and start the ball rolling. Until he or she becomes a citizen, they are only a "visitor" from another country.

Most everyone would do the same thing as them probably and come here if we had no job or money in our country. You have to survive.
The presidents over the years did nothing though about the problem of too many coming here uncontrolled. This is just because they want the hispanic votes.
Most people are just out for themselves. That includes presidents also. If this example does not prove it nothing will. -
You will get two answers from most people. If it's a statistic, it's a black and white decision: the law has been broken, that's that. If that statistic turns out to be an actual person that doesn't seem much different than you, then that black and white decision suddenly grows a number of shades of gray.
