When she first came onto the stage she was exciting and full of promise... it only took one word out of her mouth to see it was all liptstick what was shown and that she was chosen because she is expendable. She'll be the "reason" why McCain looses.

Politics in the Philippines is a bit different.
No outsider.
Only the few "elite" families (300 of them?).
Not greed, just the preservation of wealth they have accumulated without any regards for the people in the Philippines...

I still would like to sit down with all four that are running and have a dinner and discussion with them. I still respect anyone who runs for office. Yeah, I know, they HAVE to love the limelight and power that can come with this. but I also think that each other them also truly believe in what they want to accomplish for their country.

  yeah i believe the candidates this decade are much better and refined that the previous decades, we just need an open minds and all ears while listening to their philosophies and what they are fighting for, no need of mud slinging and crab mentalities, we just need to pick the one who we think that can help many people not just of personal gain or self-satisfaction is the reason you voted for them

So far, I see them, both candidates, agreeing to spend your money.
For the greater good.
Greater good for whom is not too clear but who'll pay for it is clear.

What I find different and amazing is how this is being said about a married woman in her forties, who also has given birth to 5 children...

a better picture, rather a real picture would be better in trying to judge lol but you know what, anyone who says she looks bad after 5 children, with her age is just crazy, I have seen people with one of two kids look far worse. I'll give credit where it's due, she's not a bad looking chick considering that she's a breeder and slightly old

gag - At first look I kind of went, hmmm, interesting - but then she opened her mouth and the anti-sexy came spewing out. To me, "Sexy", is not what you can see with the eye... would she be "attractive" in any of the following ways...?

- lust - yes
- hormone overload - yes
- it's been a while and you'll do - maybe, ok, yes.

sexy - nope, she's not, at least for me - there has to be more to the person than a body and some Tina Fey glasses to be sexy.

I think whiteline and mrwolf both summed up my thoughts pretty well. And Articulates pointed out the irony of a 40something mother of many being considered attractive -- nay, even sexy -- in this celebrity-obsessed culture.

I think the reason has to do with the context. An athlete is old if he's in his 30s. An actress has to stop the clock before 40 before she loses her star power. A politician under 50 is practically a kid.

(All this refers to the USA. Your country's results may vary.)

With her mouth closed I think Sarah Palin is very attractive in that I want to sleep with my teacher kind of a way.

Once she opens her mouth she morphs into a mindless twit but that's beside the point. I thought women were to be seen and not heard, wait is that kids? I am getting my quotes all screwed up today. LMAO

sarah palin is almost as hot as barack obama but not quite. obama has more style, and is way trendier. he's from hawaii went to school in la and the east coast settled into chi town and is going to win the white house. sarah palin may look good but obama looks bettar

@whiteline ok, ok maybe the fangs were a bit too much. And maybe we are more critical of her sexiness because if she wins we'll be stuck with her for 4 years so we tend to look deeper than looks. To play the devil's advocate in a coumtry song promoting the GOP campaign she is referred to as a sexy dish and when meeting with Pakistan's president his first words were a comment on how georgeous she was.
