Do you think we will have suicide bombers in the USA?

I just have a feeling that the government isn't really watching who all comes over here. They had it happen in london.
Do you think it will happen here?

Well in my neck of the woods ---Detroit area, the FBI just took down some dudes that were planning some nasty sh*t so I think at least in my area they are on top of at least some things -
I sure hope you're right. Just realizing what happened with my aunt and her EX bf has me a little worried....once he realized my aunt wasn't gonna just marry him he dropped her like a hot potato,and has already married an american after just 1 month since his break up with my aunt.

I know,but you couldn't tell her that,but what scared me about him was the way he would talk about her daughter kels. He would say she is the reason he will never bring his daughters here just his sons,plus he had this huge pic of arrafat over his mantle,my aunt was just oblivious to what that meant.

Is the LOOOSER bf made a comment that he agreed with hezbollah,and that the jews were not good. Soooo that made me start thinking...he is from palestine he doesn't like jews,he has arrafat hanging over the mantle... what is to say they wouldn't pull some crazy crap like that over here??? -

I think It can happen anywhere. Indonesia, my country, it is prone to conflict and a peaceful country, there are suicide bombers, too -
I think Holly - there is a war going on in this world - and there are good people and there are bad people.
The bad people are crazy.
You just have to hope you aren't in the wrong place at the wrong time - and you have to hope that the good people outweigh the bad people.
It isn't about race - it isn't about religion - although there are a couple of groups that aren't too cool in my book - I would hope that the people joining them would somehow understand that hurting others is BAD. -
That's what I was thinking to. It's only a matter of time I think.

I think US has better intelligence network
They didnt have any messup after the 9/11.
The authorities are really doing their job.
but here in India, we are still working to make the security better for the safety of the people -
i dont think we will have that problem in the USA Just upset people walking into a military base and killing 12 people, someone that is a sex offender killing 11 plus people, a 14 year old killing a 4 year old, and so on and so on. I think USA will take them selves out of the picture before someone else will do it. -
I hope you're right bout our police. I still just have to wonder sometimes when you see the crazy things that happen here that goes undetected

Holly at least most police are not like what we have here. You can feel safe that they are out doing their job the right way. I actually feel sorry for some of the people from outside the US that are here to better them selves. The go thru alot because the US is so careful. All of them are not here to bomb us. They want to better them selves and their families. But they also bring their religion with them. And that is what people hold against them the most. They are different that us and that scares people.

Recently I watched the Larry King Show when he had gadaffy on as a guest...It was really bizzare as gadaffy seemed like a terrorist comedian...Larry asked him about Afghanistan and al-kayduh etc. and gaddaffy answered that the headquarters for al-kayduh were in the U.S.A. not Afghanistan and that the U.S.A. should not be in Afghanistan...
I do not think there will be suicide bombings in the U.S.A. because Iran knows that the U.S.A. will invade Iran if they suicide bomb the U.S.A.-

Perhaps but there is no fiction to the the fact that after the cowardly terrorist 911 attack the U.S.A. invaded Iraq and killed most of the al-kayduh terrorists in Afghanistan...

You've heard of only Al Qaida. I've heard of Lashkar-E-Toiba, Jaaish-e-mohommed, harkat-ul-mujahideen, and several whose names I dont even remember.
And the moment you ban one, it crops back up again under a different name

Holly, i m muslim as well and i do believe in my religion and also follows it...no matter where and which part of the world i go, but i will continue my namaz and prayers where i will...i wrote one comment on the thread "What do u think about Islam?" please read it once...u will cme to know what is difference between terrorist and muslim...rlly no relation....
But still when it come to you, u got the full authority to think and react what u see...but u got to clear it as soon as possible by yourself..otherwise just writing on threads and discussions will not help..u love your country and should protect it...
just go and ask the other guy straightly about what u r concerned of...if he is a true muslim, he wont like the question but he will be happy that u came to him to clear the things...and u will get your answer as well...k.. -
