Hi all,

One question I asked myself: Do you think that you will ever be able to make money online to live your life comfortably?

I personally think I can achieve that, provided I keep my focus and determination for at least 3 years from now.

Cheers!

I started blogging as a time pass. Now I get projects from individuals and companies who saw my work. I really believe that if I continue this way, I will be able to quit my job in next two years.

Yah! Same here guys, I'm out of job and thinking of blogging as my next source of income. But I don't know how? Please help me, anyone?

get a blog on blogger, start writing about things that interest you. if you base it on one particular subject, good. write regularly and don't copy. submit your blog in various directories, write on helium and triond.
Hopefully you will start making money in 3 months. Good luck

@ ananya - good one! I've made a mistake by copying articles to be put on my blog, and my blog readers think mine doesn't worth a visit

@ acouticguitarist & friedclyde - yeaaaahhhhh! short but powerful answer

@ firehorse - personally, I'd suggest you to visit Yaro Starak's profile at www.blogcatalog.com/user/Yaro - great resource - no endorsement whatsoever!

I'm doing just that. About 2 years ago when I started marketing on the internet I knew I would be able to do it...funny enough I never asked myself that question. Even though I was struggling in the beginning I always knew it would happen.

Cool! Do you sell products and services or information?

    @ zackharis

Good one... related to the niche product, does niche information has real chance to drive revenue out of your website/blog?

    @ oboris1

blogging seems a good way make a living You mention about cracking the code - I think you CAN learn what other successful site do, but you have to understand that there would be 1000 people trying to 'crack the code'. Like Zackharis said, it would be obviously important to find your niche, and see what kind of money you can get out of it... just a thought

    Cheers!

      HI Ivanpw,

I do sell products and service as well. the idea is to get on a niche, make an info product that you know the market will buy and sell a service in the backend.

I have one product selling for $39 and the backend service of $300 per week and it's kind of good money mate.

I am trying to learn to make money from blogging as this blog this is not so new to me. it's just that i don't take the effort since last 2-3 year to make one becuase have been really busy with the sites.

So anyone can help to explain the ways we can make good money from blogging? well we know adsense is one way and i do that to some of my sites too but the money is coming in slowly.

Hope to get some help here.

      @zackharis

I've tried with RevResponse, but it's too early to say it's well worth it. It IS slow, unless you start to get loyal visitors and readers to your blog.

I hope to 'live comfortably' eventually, on income from online enterprises.

Right now, I'm trying to do this with advertising (AdSense) - and a very limited number of affiliate arrangements.

If I can increase traffic a few thousand-fold, I should be doing all right.

    That's a big "if."

    Thanks for starting this thread.
    1. ivanpw
      @ Norski,

That's correct... few traffic = few income. Sad, but true

Unless, we find better way to increase traffic, every monetization efforts will be plain useless

As my blog says, it will pay my mortgage. It doesn't just yet, but it will. The reason I know this is that I am a firm beleiever that if you focus hard enough, tell enough people, try try try, then you will reach your goals...

I think it's possible but takes time. I've started putting crazy ideas by my Dad online two weeks ago and I've earned $25 on google adsense only so far, roughly $1 per day.

Guys like problogger and stevepavlina earn like $2000 a day but they;ve come a long way to achieve this.

My guess is keep blogging and have fun and the money will come to you!
    1. ivanpw
      @ Valeriideas

$1 a day is what many of us can't achieve right now. Congrats!

Regarding the probloggers out there, I follow Yaro Starak's blog - www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/entrepreneurs-journey.html, and found out from his posts that he probably make around $9000 - $14000 a month - Whoa...

It's tough to say what is a comfortable level of financial security.

Ideally, it would be nice to work maybe 5 hours a day, 4 days a week, and earn enough to support you and even travel so you can enjoy your life. In reality, I'm lucky if I sleep 5 hours a day!

But, if you don't put time and effort into this - you won't be able to succeed. It kind of is related to the amount of productive time you spend at this.

Do I think I will be able to make enough money to live confortably? I'm a dreamer and entreprenuer trying to get a break and succeed, and even buy lottery tickets (when it's over $15million that is). Yeah - I sure hope so..... one day.
    1. ivanpw
      @ PetLvr

That's correct for many of us. Bustin' our @ss to get the $.

For me, the most difficult thing is to find the right stuff for the right audience.

True, I've realized recently that having a successful blog (not that I have one) is a full time job and takes a lot of time and effort!
