Do you use applications on your mobile phone?

Do you use applications in your mobile phone? For fun or to increase productivity? Or do you believe that phones are just meant for calls and the occasional SMS. Let me know what you think.

I have a very basic phone, which is exactly what I want. My last phone was loaded with "apps" and it was a nightmare to use.
I make and receive phone calls and SMSs, I use the phone list and the calculator. That's it. It's all I need.
My phone doesn't have fancy colour or a camera, doesn't play music, won't even download ringtones. I don't even understand why people want that stuff. For me, it is pointless and a waste of money I would much rather spend elsewhere. -
I absolutely want to keep my phone for just talking, texting, quick pics, music, and calendar. I don't download anything that is going to cost me anything more than I already pay. There's nothing I need an app for so badly that cannot be put off until I am able to use a computer for.
