Do you use 'Adsense for content' or 'Adsense for search' or both?

If you have tried several combinations to finally get it to work for you (even a little) please share.

Yes I use Google Adsense on my blog.

Nope. The blogging service I use doesn't allow it. I still wouldn't if it were allowed.

    No, I don't.

No...I don't think it would be worth it.

I use adsense on my blog. I have not gotten many clicks on the ads. I am not sure if my placement is not good? or if they are just not interesting to people. I try to use descriptive key words to get better ads.

    I do.

I post one ad unit at the end of each post and one skyscraper in the sidebar. Both are customized with colors that compliment my blog.

In the beginning I was earning around $4/month. Now I get some $12 months, but an average of $7-8.

I'm not gonna get rich off Google ads LOL.

Yes, and I just recieved my first check after 10 months! You have to earn over $100 dollars before they release the money. After your account reaches over $100 you have to wait another month and half before they send it out...... It's still worth it to me.

Placement is very improtant. Some one on BC helped me with it. Before my ads were not very visible and after she told me where to put them I started making money daily.

If I'm lucky I'll receive my first check this year LOL. Maybe in time for Christmas.

If you want to earn huge money, just go to the 'insurance' type of job. Either online @ offline, with some normal effort this field can guarantee you the salary of at least above the normal wage.

I am so sorry to ask this question but How else can we make money as a blogger if we dont use google adsense? I really dont know that is why I am asking

There are plenty of ways to make money as a blogger. If timethief were here now, she would state her usual list, which you can find here: bit.ly/1dFCdx

AdSense is only one of many ways, and although I use it on my blog, and it is not my main stream of online income.

Thanks to you, I was only using adsense so far.
  13. singaporecaddy
yep, but only one on the sidebar, that's it.
    1. Selvia
What I know is we can use as many as three google adsense in one blog
    2. singaporecaddy
yeah, but I don't like to. It clutters up the whole space. Annoys me when people try to blend in the ad with the post to get accidental clicks.
    3. owlbarn
I thought it was a good thing, blending. I read on Google Adsense help pages that the idea behind blending the ads with the site is not to 'fool' people into clicking the ads but to not make the ads stand out like an eye sore on your website. But, I also understand about people wanting the accidental clicks.
    4. singaporecaddy
I know what you mean regarding what Google is suggesting, but the blending I'm talking about, and I should have been more specific, is when the ads are posted to look like content.
    5. owlbarn
      'look like content' how?

I use GD on my blog and I don't see it working very well for me. Anyways, I am only experimenting
