Strict restrictions at work place force many employees use Proxy sites to browse through specific webites.
Social Media like Orkut, facebook, myspace, twitter etc are blocked in most offices, but the professionals are so addicted that they can't resist the urge to use a proxy and get through the firewall.
Do you use proxies at work to access blocked websites?

People who use proxies are assholes.
Before you click the "report" button, seriously think about what I'm saying: By using a proxy, the administrators have to implement fancy little workarounds to prevent their usage. These workarounds typically consist of blocking programs that allow you to change the proxy settings (i.e. Firefox Portable) or, for the unskilled, they simply block web-based proxies.
Additionally, using proxies means that people who wish to initiate DoS attacks without the help of a botnet are forced to choose from a smaller pool of proxies. Think of the script-kiddies.
(Yes, the last point is meant to be read as satire.) -
