Do you use Proxies to browse at work?

Strict restrictions at work place force many employees use Proxy sites to browse through specific webites.

Social Media like Orkut, facebook,myspace, twitter etc are blocked in most offices, but the professionals are so addicted that they can't resist the urge to use a proxy and get through the firewall.

Do you use proxies at work to access blocked websites?

I use Kproxy at college....Even kproxy is blocked so hav to use their IP address!

Consider the case of China, UAE etc. where almost all social media websites and even gmail is blocked!

People who use proxies are assholes.

Before you click the "report" button, seriously think about what I'm saying: By using a proxy, the administrators have to implement fancy little workarounds to prevent their usage. These workarounds typically consist of blocking programs that allow you to change the proxy settings (i.e. Firefox Portable) or, for the unskilled, they simply block web-based proxies.

Additionally, using proxies means that people who wish to initiate DoS attacks without the help of a botnet are forced to choose from a smaller pool of proxies. Think of the script-kiddies.

(Yes, the last point is meant to be read as satire.)

you can use this page for bypass & unblock website at your office. i use it because my offite block myspase youtube and some website. but this web can bypass all and fast ... Bypass & Unblock Website in School or Office Firewall

when i was in high school which was 2 yrs ago.. i graduated in 07.. i used a proxy.. to get on like myspace and stuff.. but i always had to find a new one because they always caught on.. but no im at work.. and im on myspace and facbook.. no blocks lol

as and when we discover them. our employer block them with immediate effect
