I used to wear these in the 70's in London (minus the tattoos, didn't have those), GREAT look. I bet I would enjoy seeing your clothes anok.

Talk about bloody judgmental, I don't stuff my bloody face, or eat fast foods, snacks, fried foods or cakes and pies. I walk every day twice, once on the treadmill and once in the evening with the dogs. When the weather is nice I also walk into town. I am FAT (not obese) because I am middle aged, going through menopause and my metabolism has slowed down.

I'm not plus sized today--I think I am in good shape and my doctor confirms this--although I am not skinny by any means. I'm curvy--just like my husband likes me. I am 5'9" and weigh 145 lbs.

However, I have been both large and small. I was tiny all through my junkie years but when I quit doing heroin, I did nothing but cry and eat frosting out of a can for about a year and ended up gaining about 60 lbs, so I had to shop for bigger clothes, which was very difficult. My heart actually goes out to women who have to deal with that.

The most interesting thing about being bigger was the terrible way I was treated--by both men and women. People would give me dirty looks if I was eating in a restaurant and sometimes say things that I could hear. It was very hurtful.

About 2 years into my recovery, I started working out, which I continue to this today. I lost all that weight and people started being much friendlier to me. Interestingly enough, women were meaner to me than men were.

TT, J. Crew comes very close to that. It's more like 33-25-35 than exactly 10 all around, but closer than your average clothing line.

LOL! Yes, my best accessory is a pair of well worn boots. Furry for winter, and Doc's for summer :D

I am not at all plus size but used to have a hard time finding clothes that fit me well. I too used to get guys pants anok just to get them to fit. They seem to think that if you are 5'11" you shouldn't be as skinny as me. I tend to like the hipsters though and find that if I go to the juniors section in Kohl's that I can get my size in tall. I don't really like most of the clothes in the women's section anyway.

Ahahaha... so blunt but so true. Question: Why do white gangster wannabe's persist in wearing plus sized clothing? I'm talking about the shirts that touch the back of their knees and the jeans that are so baggy you can only see 1 inch of a sneaker... Sorta makes them look like they have hooves.

It's the labor and designer's name that really ups the price. I see clothes all the time that I know have maybe $20 worth of fabric, zipper and buttons etc but yet the sales price is much, much higher.

My mom wears plus size just because of how her skeleton is. For so many years the only thing available for size 16 and 18 was polyester stretch-waist pants and boxy shirts. The "cute" or "interesting" clothes all stop around size 12 or 14. Then you have to go to a different department in the store for the next up sizes and all those designers are boring. It's like they're the one that flunked design school!

And on the other hand, some designers are offering their clothes up to size 20 or more...but it's the sexy stuff like low rise pants and peekaboo tops. I love my mom, but I don't want to see her butt crack or belly hanging out over the top of her pants like a muffin.

Can't someone just make modest clothing that has some interest and design to them?!

Time thief, you're talking about a matter of extra inches. Fabric does not cost that much, and clothing is already marked up. No, plus size clothing does not cost more.

I'm not plus sized but I wonder why it is that there are no women's clothes for those of us who have small waists? Surely there ought to be some clothes available of the rack to those of us who do have hourglass shaped figures (eg. hip measurement that is 10 inches larger than waist measurement).

I don't like the new baby doll cutsy tops,I grew out of that style when I was 5. Or short tops so when you move your whole midsection is exposed.

The old man that lives in my pants (not my man clitoris!)
I am a Siamese twin and they couldn't remove my brother from my waist so I have to wear plus size pants to accommodate him.
Most of the time i can hide him pretty well though it can be embarrassing when I'm at a BBQ and a shrivelled hand shoots out of my fly and grabs a bread roll from the table.

The industry standard for "plus-size" clothing is size 14+.
