I signed up to be a premium member but can't see it getting any mileage for me whatsoever aside from having a badge. I don't get any visits from it.

Being a premium member has nothing to do with traffic. And the mileage is listed here:

More exposure (which I haven't noticed yet) does not always mean more traffic if your blog and/or avatar is not tempting enough for whoever clicks on BC's home page. BTW, have you tried the stats feature? That's the best part I'm getting from it.

The stats feature is great and premium members don't see any advertising at all.

I'm using Adblock and I never see any advertising either.

What exactly does the stats feature do?

It doesn't DO anything in particular, but it gives you a great overview of your visitors, where they come from, search terms used, what pages they visit, in which order, what they click on or download...you can even follow your traffic live in real-time, to mention but a few of the features. It's among the best stats I have seen around.

The BC stats are using GetClicky. You can see a live demo of how GetClicky works at www.getclicky.com/

Thanks. It does look pretty useful.

Yep, I agree that the stats is really useful although my google analytics already gives me similar info- the interesting part is where they don't agree on where the traffic comes from and how much traffic there actually is. BC's version is also easier/friendlier to understand.

I've never seen my blog on the front page (neither have any of my friends) although I've seen plenty other people I know (and I'm not logged in using different computers or internet access) ... bummer.
