Pretty sure you only get one page. Though you can edit how many things show up on the page, but after that they get archived in their necessary time frames and categories.

Blogger software does not provide for static pages the way wordpress software does. lol ... I'm pretty sure we are going to come around in full circle to the starting point of our earlier discussions.

Hundreds of thousands of newbies learn how to use wordpress on the free hosted wordpress .com multi-user blogging platform every day everyday.

Yes I've heard Wordpress is much better, but it looks like its more difficult to blog on there.

Yea, I tried it, but honestly confused me a bit. I'm more of the type who takes a simple route, and then tweaks everything that was freely given to me until I have what I like in a very simple manner.

The wordpress .com FAQs is comprehensive and includes screencast tutorials. The peer to peer support forum is a great place to go if you can't find what you need in the FAQs. Then, of course, there's my blog.

I don't think it's difficult at all. I use blogger for my personal blogs and Wordpress and another platform at work. I wouldn't say that one is "easier" than the other--I just prefer the layout and functionality of blogger, and find that my posts get indexed much more quickly and get better search rankings in blogger.

What you can do in blogger, though, is create back-dated post pages, fill them with content you'd want to have in a tab, and then use a blogger template that links to those pages, as if they were tabbed pages.

That's actually how both of my blogs were set up. And it's working out for me pretty well. You might want to look into something like that as an option.

      I'm not following you lol

There are blogger templates where it's set up so there are what look like separate pages, but in fact they're just links to posts.

If you look on either of my blogs at the top of the blog page, under the header, you'll see what looks like standard web site navigation to what appears to be separate pages. But if you click one of those topics, it's actually connecting to a standard post page through Blogger.

See your page is exactly what I would like to accomplish with the links! Do you need a certain tool to do that or is it only with certain templates that this can be done ??

Mine came with the template. Then I just developed the posts I wanted those navigational headers to link to-- and backdated them so that way the posts wouldn't go straight into the feed as new material.

Then I copied those the post links into the code of my template.

      It wasn't terribly difficult.

My template came with "tabs" as well, although they don't show up in Internet Explorer. They aren't crucial enough to the navigation of my blog for me to fuss about it, though. I do like the way they look when I can see them, though, and they were very easy to adjust and fill. I'm considering a "Table of Contents" page like Ms. Timethief has, but it seems like a time commitment I'd rather not make at the moment. If I do, I'll definitely give that its own tab.

I have "tabs"- "menu" bar on my blogger blog. If you visit my blog you will see what I mean. I made that menu bar using this tutorial!
