Mine does, but I read so many blogs that I'm interested in knowing if what I am reading has any real bearing on the blogger.... hmmmm.

Thanks for commenting.

Mine does. It's based on my own experiences and observations and opinions. It can't help but reflect who I am.
  2. harleyblues
Yes but of course your blog is an extension of yourself,
    hb~
  3. xmarks
yes. I'm a smart mouthed parent who thinks he knows enough to rule the world. I blog about my kids and politics.
  4. Anniepooh
I cook. I eat. Yeah, mine is all about me.
  5. aningeniousname
Nope I write my blog to try and turn attention away from me and my nefarious activities!
  6. Arcticulates
Yes it is...and where I live!
  7. kat822
    Definately mine does
  8. polybore
Yes polybore is very much afraid that it does.
  9. Arashmania
Of course ... if it doesn't resonate with me personally I won't post it. It does reflect various parts of my personality.

Some more than others. I have six blogs and a webzine, and some are more personal than others, some focused almost entirely on a particular subject. I suspect, though, that all reveal things about me, even where that's not intended.

It does, to an extent represent me - and the parts it does I think represent me well. There are some parts of my life that I don't blog about though.
  12. abledragon
Yes - but not everything about me.

My blog absolutely reflects my beliefs and experiences on the niche I address, but I don't expose the parts of my life that are irrelevant to the focus of my blog.
  13. fairchildonrage
aye for me. but i only blog about my interests, dislikes and on a general perspective but i don't write about issues too personal such as the ordeals that i'm dealing with myself. i do believe each of us has already personal issues to battle with, so why bother and be an added burden to anyone else?! XD

I think that it is beginning to grow toward that end. I have only been blogging for a few months and am still learning how best to put my thoughts into words. However, I am pretty happy overall with the amount of content that I have been creating and that blogging has been a great motivator to keep me painting and creating on a regular basis. I also think that thus far, my blog does reflect my creative process and who I am creatively quite well.
  15. kirewass
Does what you blog about reflect who you are?
    Both yes and no.

But I hope that people don't make judgments about me based on my blog. My native language is not English and feelings are easier to express in my native language.
  16. kdawg68
absolutely - you put so much time and effort into blogging that it has to. Actually, I suppose it depends on how much you write. Some "blogs" are just scraping content/photos/youtube videos off the net. If you are writing posts than I'd say yes - and if the photos/videos are yours I'd also say yes.

Unquestionably. In my humor blog, I try to tell stories other folks will be able to identify with in some way and laugh with, but they're always personal tales.
  18. JaydenVasara
mine does...i'm too damn honest and outspoken for my own good. oh and sarcastic...
  19. irtiza104
yeas definitely. my blog surely shows who i am. you can easily find out that i am selfish person by going through my blog ( i think). i am also a person who always brags about things. but the good thing about me is that i know myself. i know my limitations.

(in fact i just wrote a post on being selfish, nothing fancy though)

Mine is about my life as a parent and the lessons I've learned about parenting. Its purpose is to help people by sharing the kinds of things that women *used* to share when there were several generations of women in the same household or neighborhood. Our society has broken down those means of transmitting knowledge... so I blog as a way to pass something on through new networks. What I have found is an amazing group of women who are engaged in the same "passing on" of our life lessons.

And so, by teaching what I know, I find I am also learning a great deal. How cool is that?

Without a doubt, my entries are all me in all my uniqueness, yeah, that's the word lmao!
  22. powerof3
yes it does! my blog is where i express my thoughts and feelings on different kind of things!
  23. jeffbakertalks
almost to a person, we have a consensus regarding the art of blogging and expressing our selves in the process... i thought i might be the only one but now i see clearly that blogging is my best outlet for free expression... by the way i live in what is known as the bible belt in the southern united states... you don't get to express yourself the way i do living here without someone calling you a heretic... I love it. thanks to each of you and Peace -- jb

I am on my blog who I am in real life, no differences. What I put out in black and white is who I am in living colour so yes, the barring is there, the significance, the mundane, crisis, joy and pain. It's all there and real as real can get.

  25. ranist22
Yes, definitely. The blog expresses my thoughts and poetic sentiments.
  26. DaVincisBlogLog
    Mine definitely does!
  27. taradickherber
Absolutely. Even as a Life Coach my blog reflects me, what I have lived and want to create. I can not expect my clients to take strides towards their ultimate life without taking those same strides myself!

Mine does, the vacationing - get away from reality - and enjoy my hobby part
  29. voodooKobra
I complain about stuff (but mostly society), so yes.
  30. thoughtsofg
    Sure why not.
  31. suburbqueen
My blog reflects how I think more than who I am.
  32. MelissaMorris
    Sure, that's the point, right?

I would say my blog reflects who I am in one sense. It definitely shows my passion for history and how much it's a part of my life. However, it's only one part of my life...there's much more to me than just blogging.
  34. Ravyn
Yeah, mine definitely reflects who I am; I live in my ideas, and it tends to show through in what I write about.
  35. saiffarooqi
to an extent it does ... it reflects the range of my interests and some posts are based on my personal experiences and observations

Nah...it is my secret alter ego that blogs most of the time turning me into this super bitchy sarcastic blogger who speaks her mind with no holds barred.
I barely have the chance to get a word in since my secret, stronger Miss Hyde refused to hand over my blogs (most of the time) except for my food blog which she does not care for.
  37. drjay1966
yes...to an extent that somewhat frightens me....
  38. RichManofAction
After deep inward reflection, I find that my blog defines some portions of my soul, but others it gives benign neglect. This both gives my soul an exuberant sense of jubilation and grief which I do not know how to understand.
  39. crawler
I write about only the things which I know a bit and can discuss about them. valleyz.blogspot.com with the latest post on Broken relationships.
  40. AlopecianMuse
My blog is me, but not as much as I would like it to be. I'm learning to let loose a little, and over time I hope to express other sides of my personality that right now I have not revealed. I enjoy reading other blogs that are honest and gritty...for good or bad. One of the things I love to do most is find a blog I enjoy reading and watch that person grow as they hash out their life.
The human condition is so compelling and beautiful.

I have two blogs. One of them is co-authored by my girlfriend and I think that it is a reflection of the fun side of who we are.
    www.bobdrinks.blogspot.com
My other blog is also a reflection of certain aspects of me so to answer your question-yes.
    www.blondemavmovies.blogspot.com
Please feel free to visit them both! I'd love input as I'm pretty new to all of this. Thanks!
  42. sisterofmercy
Yes, I think it does. My posts are often written more like ramblings than actual posts, which is very similar to how I speak and think. I often also become obsessed by a band or artist for a period of time and then listen to them repeatedly, this is shown in my blog when I mention the same artists and bands. I would also like to think my dry sense of humour shows somewhat in my writing.
  43. maxisangry
No, mine is like everything else in my life: a complete and utter lie. Good graphics though.
  44. kath
Absolutely. I blog about my passions in life and it has become more than hobby for me...yey! do come & visit
  45. jmjinks
If your blog is considered an extension of yourself, I'd be a slightly warped, egomaniacal media whore.

As I don't belong to a famous family, media whoring doesn't quite work out the same, in my case.
  46. SaedT
Yes 100% Yes, better than reality.
