   Yes, it ends. A group of us are getting together to go back in time and live in the 1990's. I've already seen every Seinfeld episode and I know how the O.J. trial turns out, so I have a feeling I'll regret it.

    Actually, the end is actually nigh. Not 2012. But I offer a grim prediction. Unnatural global warming will heat up the oceans enough to release our frozen methane hydrates, creating an unstoppable methane warming. Funny how partisans used to mock global warming. Not much mocking lately. The end is nigh, but hopefully not while I breathe. Our children? Does it matter if the end is nigh, if you don’t witness it yourself?
