Dogs or Cats Who Makes The Best Pets? I Say DOGS

I am a avid dog lover, they are indeed time after time Man's Best Friend. They are right beside you no matter what. When they feel something is bothering you they give you those eyes. You know what I'm talking about, those hope my master feel better and I'm here eyes. They are always happy to see you and show it totally. Even if you reprimand them and then call them, they come running. I could go on and on but I will add additional things as responses.

Oh Cats, well they are cute but thats about it about those stuffy, finicky, scratch you up little balls of fur. Cat Lovers, I did say they are cute

I don't get why you'd even bother asking a question like this.
Everybody knows that dogs are our friends and cats are demons in animal form.

Hey, Cats are the best, every cat that I have ever had has always loving, cuddly, and even stands guard over me while I am in the garden working. And warns me when strangers are roaming around outside.

I have never found a dog I really liked. I don't know why, just haven't found any that grab my heart, except for my friend's big ole' Rottweiler, he was awesome, but died last year of old age.

I have to disagree with both your choices and plump for the lovable faithful Aardvark. It won't fetch sticks or purr when you pet it, but it's great if you don't have a mini vac.

I don't know, I've heard some of those aardvarks can be very silly and have a smart mouth at times

  That's why they need training, the Aardvark's natural state in the wild is a sort of smart mouthed silliness that is handy for foiling predators but undesirable in a pet.

  I had a friend with an extremely large nose and everybody nicknamed him Aardvark. He really hated that nickname and always took it out on his pet Ants.

I prefer horses to dogs and cats but I like them all very much and have had them all. As Madame X said the pet that your most prefer depends entirely on your personality and what you want from an animal/amphibian/reptile or bird. I would also like to add another criteria and that is your circumstances.

For example, some people may prefer to have a dog but they may live in a complex that only allows cats. Example 2: I have a friend who loves horses and dogs best but as she commutes to work and is gone 13 - 14 hours a day, 5 days per week, and as she lives in an apartment, she accepts the fact that she cannot not provide a good home for a horse or a dog so she has a cat.

Cats. No question. Cats have a magical mojo and the more you have, the more it rubs off. Dogs have no voodoo magic mojo but they help if you're emotionally needy. Now, I have so many cats that I can out voodoo a reasonably large Jamaican village. If I had 27 dogs on the other hand, I'd just be weird instead of supremely powerful like I am. Zap! Okay, you didn't see that but I just turned my neighbor into a toad for blocking my driveway with a yardsale. Cats rock. End of story.

I've had a lot of different sort of pets, but I'll stick with dogs these days. I love all of them, iguanas, chinchillas, rabbits, scorpions, cats, dogs, but yeah, I'll go with the dog. Although, there is one cat I would take home any day, any time, but she's one of a kind I think.

I've had cats, dogs, horses, lizards, birds, fish...even hermit crabs. I like horses the best, but don't have the space to keep one anymore; love birds and cats, but have developed a severe allergy to them. So, I have a tank of goldfish and three little dogs. Small and cuddly like cats, but without the dander that makes my eyes swell shut and my throat close up.

If I had my druthers, I'd have a chincilla Persian. I don't, so I have Maltese.

I love both. Before i used to HATE cats but my boyfriend has three cats so they kind of grew on me and i like them now. They used to scare me before. I think there easier to take care of then dogs but i love dogs too because of there personalities. There very playful . . I mean you can't really play with a cat.

Cat person here - I have three - my problem is I love kittens but then they grow up and stick around for 12 to 15 years.
