This morning I wired a press release for my client, an artist. So far I have received nine replies back from journalist and producers wanting to know ‘who’ the artist was. I had to reread the press release and sure enough – the electronic version never gives his full name. At least they’re still enquiring.

"Um, it was... intentional. Intentional, see? To create... mystique."

    Well, I opened this thread.

I'm just joking. Ya'know, sometimes the small details really make a big difference.

Oh well - I did create a very extensive media kit and included the link. So all is not lost.

All the frigging time. I find my blunders make me strangely attractive though - have you noticed that?

Of course I did. As far as stupid goes the name says enough.

I can be really scatter-brained sometimes. A few days ago, my kids had their dad on speaker phone on my cell phone. I could hear his voice very loudly and saw the kids talking on the phone, yet I was still looking all over for my phone. I was about to get on the phone and ask their dad to call my cell so I could find it. Now that is dense!

I think the last thing I did that was stupid was wear two different colored socks-- one black and one navy-- to work to a business meeting.

They were the same color at home, but at work, good gad-- they were SO not.

Sounds like a subconscious attempt to break convention.
    2. misterDog
      did anyone besides you notice?
    3. ThriftShopRomantic
I'm not sure. I told one of my coworkers who I'm friends with. Hopefully I slipped by.

Otherwise I was, er, intentionally breaking convention.

I'm at work walking around. After a few steps I feel something hit my foot, wow a penny, a few more steps, a nickle flew at my foot. Look around to see who is throwing money at me. A few more steps another penny. wasnt till 5 minutes later I realized I had a hole in my pocket.
    Duh...........
    1. kevingoodman
But at least you was finding it. :0
