Hi. recently someone added me as a friend who has a crazy, objectionable, and absolutely offensive blog. How do I remove myself as their friend?

Is there a way? I know I can remove them from my neighborhood, but is there a way to remove myself from their friends list.

Thanks for any help...

    There is a way.
    Lets explain it simple.
When you see the blog on the left side of your Blogcataglog
it shows add or remove friend.
When you see the blog on the right side you can remove them from your neighborhood.

OOPS I forgot, when its on the left side you have to click the blog to move it to the right side.
    *Dutch sigh*

Thanks for the info... I already removed him from my neighborhood, but I was asking if there was a way to remove myself from HIS friends list. He added me, but I didn't add him as a friend.

    Thanks...

Ohh...I thought when you remove him/her it removes yourself as well, so I am I wrong? If not, that's a problem!

      I don't know...LOL that's why I was asking. I hope that's the case. Thanks =)

I am not meaning to make a big deal of it, honestly... I was just needing some BC help, tis all.

Thanks Elixir for your message I received it... And referring to your "BTW" comment... I was hoping so.

Of course I had to check to make sure I was not the crazy, objectionable friend...

If they are listed as listing you as a friend but you didn't list them it really doesn't reflect badly on you.

Except that your face appears in the "friends" section beneath their blog--which you may or may not want to be associated with.

This is one area where MyBlogLog is better. It distinguishes between "friends" (people who have mutally tagged each other) and admirers. Of course, you might still not like having the admirer, but I think MBL also lets you block people. Yes, I could see where that would be useful here too.

Actually I don“t know the people say what "friend" said?
    1. decoratorinside
      sorry, I didn't understand that one? =)

I think he means he doesn't understand the concept of "friend" on BC. It isn't explained anywhere. Khepriamun?

Yea I would rather have the friends thing work like myspace... only making mutual connections but we launched it this way and it took off too quickly so now we have all of these weird connections.

decoratoriinside, You are not the first person to ask about this I know its on our to-do list. I just dont know how high or low it sits.

      thanks, Nine!

Sorry, I don't see any of this. I'm not understanding what page is specifically my Blogcatalog page, I guess. Thank.s

Is that like somebody telling me, "Go block yourself"?

Unfortunately there is no way to get off of thier list, you'd have to send them a shout or something and ask that they remove you.

Or they do what naughty nine said way back in 07, that has been on the 'to do list' for a long time.....
