   I agree with you, and I guess that Jesus did too since He didn't mock Thomas but allowed him to touch the wound that the Roman spear had made in His side.
   Thomas had been shaken by the events he had just witnessed.I have to admit, that had I been there, I would have been examining my beliefs as well. Thomas, after that encounter, did become convinced Thomas.
   
   I believe that if we ask Jesus to reveal Himself to us today, He still will.
   I doubt however that many will ask that question of Him. It took me a long time to ask, in fact I argued much like many of the bloggers in these discussions, with anyone who claimed to be convinced of His existence.
   I did this because, if it were true, He might or might not accept me as a person, it might mean some change..and sadly, there were some people who claimed to be Christians I had known, that I just didn't want to be like.
   I have a great deal of respect for the many bloggers who are in these discussions, even though we, in most cases do not agree. I respect those who will ask tough questions and search for answers rather than following what others believe blindly. I believe that Jesus does too.
