I would like to come out and say I am totally against people being against this.

If they're not underage, then what's the problem? I think it's disempowering to grown women to call them 'victims' of dates that you don't approve of - there are inappropriate and exploitive people in the dating game of all ages, genders and orientations - as many as there are people who date the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

'creapers' lol ... never heard that term before. It is a bit creepy. Works both ways tho, see Ivana Trump? She married some guy young enough to be her son ... eeesh.

*lmao* creepers and cougars - freaking hilarious!
It's absolutely amazing to me how many people are preoccupied with other people's sex lives.
Could be that they don't have one of their own?

I sometimes find it interesting what attracts other people to their mates tho ... I dunno ... people are fascinating. Ivana Trump & her new hubby and Michael Douglas & Catherine what's her name ... it's just kinda odd that's all. 30 years is a lot!

TT gets the "hammer - meet nail" award. Spot on.

Love the term, but who cares really. When an undergrad I preferred older men because most guys my age were ridiculous. Seventy might be to old but 40 is probably not.

"Creapers"? Is that what they're calling "Dirty old Men" now? Back in the day (when I was younger and MUCH cuter), I unwillingly attracted my share. Even today, I still get semi-toothless grins and wolf whistles from the much, much older, unattractive, less than desirable set. All I can say now is ...eeewwww! This makes me even more grateful that I am an "old married woman" - Nards

Hmmm, my dad is quite "old" by the numbers, but he definitely is not creepy - and he has women flocking to him in droves some younger than me.

    Seriously.

    He's pimp.

God Yes! It's a curse! With the cost of gas, who can afford Viagra? (Actually I took out a loan.)
    2. kat822
lol Anok that is funny pimp daddy

If young women didn't flock towards money, we wouldn't have this "issue". Whos really to blame?
    1. Donlewis
      Capitalism at work again.
    2. kdawg68
Or...is it because of the majestic images of old guys on the money itself? Things that make you go "hmmmmmmmm?"

I'm glad to have started such an interesting discussion. Obviously only two or three here actually read the article. The term "creaper" [sic], however, refers to a specific type of male.

    1. Decade older, roughly
    2. Total loser
    3. Thinks they're a decade younger--in denial

The article was supposed to be humorous and only slightly on topic, not really serious. More about spreading around the little-known "creaper" moniker into the public lexicon than anything else.

Certainly it doesn't discount the woman's role in her own demise.

I did read the post but I honestly can't get myself worked up about this. There is no barrier to any two people of any age getting together. As long as they are consenting adults then I really don't give a toss who they toss.
