Well, I'm in the game now. I just sent in part one of the MIT app. I'm now working on part two. I have A boat load of apps since I'm applying to ten+ schools. I hope to get all done by second week of school. I also have to study for SAT two as well as ACT. Ooo how fun my life is.

Wish me luck. If you have any tips, please share them with me.

Overcharge,

early bird gets the worm. They put out the app on monday, I got it a few hours after it was up, it's due, for early action, on nov 1st.

"For things to change, you must get a clear picture of what you want them to change to." A quote from my friend Joe Syverson. He has his own web site. Just google him and get inspiration.

Congratulations and I shall send you good vibrations.

Get a professional to go over your application essay--NOT to write it for you, just to go over it.
Also, keep in mind that standardized tests are about seeing how well you follow rules and memorize rote information--the more cynical you are about them the better. Whatever you do, don't think or be creative when dealing with interpretive or essay questions. Go for the simplest answer, not the most interesting.

Sounds like good common sense advise.

Thank you, I need that for the SAT 2 and ACT. That is what they are exactly.

    Best of luck to you!!!

Just remember all the advice you got in early threads - get your rest, eat well, study but don't cram....you'll do just fine.

Let us know how it goes!!! ♥
