Water is great! Isn't it?
If you didn't drink yet...Go drink smart one!
Most of the time we forget to drink water;
It's very important to hydrate ourselves.
Specially in a hot place for us bloggers
like BlogCatalog :-)
So...Tell me one thing...
Do think you drink enough water already?
or
Do you think you should drink more water?
Be healthy and Be happy!
A glass of water is good for you!
Go drink water!
P.S: Sometimes we think we are hungry...when in reality we just need a lil hydration:-)

"UK experts say research which finds drinking lots of water does little to improve health should not discourage people from topping up regularly."
from: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7326437.stm-
@thegoodknife: I think that is BULLSHARK. I have read that before, and although that might be the case for some people most people get fatigued when they get dehydrated, they get muscle cramps, constipation, and so forth. I have to agree with ekim. I am going to re-read that study to see who funded it.

I think the study is implying that after a certain point the benefit of drinking copious amounts of water is not as beneficial as some people make it out to be. obviously if you're getting dehydrated, you should drink some more water.
I don't know if the study is accurate or not, just found it interesting. I'm not really taking sides. -
I think (my personal view) that if you drink under a certain amount then yes you will become dehydrated and experience the associated affects. Likewise if you drink a copious amount of water then you could be flushing important minerals out of your body.
To take things further, did you know if you drink WAY TOO much water, it can kill you.

A glass of water soon after awakening is a wonderful way to start your day. It replenishes the water you've lost while asleep and makes you more alert. I'm not a morning person. I've found a glass of water really helps me wake up.

www.oxyfresh.com/news/ha_nutrition.asp is an article I wrote about nutrition.
I mention the importance of water in there, haha. -
I never drink water - ever.
I live in Australia (In the tropics) - where the heat can reach 120 degrees F - and yet I just don't drink water - I drink Coffee, Pepsi Max, Scotch - and I feel great

@OzScot: Buy some bottled water buddy!:-) Give it a try!
I also agree with your thinking:
"but I grudge paying for something which I used to get in abundance for free"
Plus when you describe water in Scotland so simple like that:
"it is simply beautiful"
It makes me wanna get a flight to Scotland right now just to taste the water! Seriously!:-)

Maybe if you drunk a lil water you would feel better than great!
Have you ever tried?
Like everything else in life...
You have to try it for yourself and see
YOUR results!
You should give it a try Ben:-)-
Rio - I came here to Oz from Scotland and in Scotland the water is as pure and natural as anywhere in the world - it is simply beautiful. There's much that's beautiful here in Oz - but sadly the water isn't one of them - it tastes AWFUL (When there is any lol)!
I just can't bring myself to drink it - maybe I should buy bottled water but I grudge paying for something which I used to get in abundance for free

I live in Florida and drink tea (green and white sweetened; regular unsweetened) and Gatorade almost exclusively.

I drink water most of the time...it get's really dry here in the winter, helps my skin.
I have heard that our well water in this area in Alaska is the best tasting water anywhere, people come from all over the world to get some of our water...
And strange thing is 100 miles from here the water is full of iron, it tastes metallic, and turns my blond hair a orangey red color... -
OK now I have to pee. While I retire to the little boys room (no, that's not a confessional), think about this:
"In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is strength, in water there is bacteria."
