In 1958 Profesor Hapgood published his Earth Crust Displacement Theory.
In more recent times this position has been adopted by the writer and broadcaster Graham Hancock.

The earth's crust is in constant motion at a speed slower than that of a growing toenail.. This is true!

Yes Marcus but if the theory of displacement turns out to be true.Your toenails are going to grow six inches in five minutes!hee hee

I think it is a theory ready to be put to rest. Ice records we have that go back tens of thousands of years wouldn't exist if such a shift happened 10,000 years ago. There also would have been massive extensions of plants and animials as they had to adapt to their new position on the surface.

When part of earth crust collide and *rise, there should be other part of earth crust that must rubble *down because the layer did not expand or shrink, they just moved, slipped few meters away from their previous ground. So be aware not to live/sleep at the both end of *rise and *down during the tragedy.

There should be an alarm warning or other things. Come on, there are so many geologist, land surveyor, soil chemist, biologist, physicist and engineer out there. Where are they - predicting rains for commercials? Too many commercials.
