Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, & Michael Jackson?

It always seems to happen in three's. Michael Jackson was rushed to an LA hospital in cardiac arrest. It is being reported that he was found unconscious with no pulse in his home.
This is a sad week.

Network news is so behind. There are 3 live shows on local news right now and none of them have reported that Michael Jackson has died.
Twitter reported it faster than the news.-

It's better this year than last year! Every week there'd be a 'so-and-so has died' banner up...this year there have been plenty, but not as many.

I have found stories from 13 minutes and 47 minutes ago saying he's had a heart attack... and stories from 2005 and 2007 saying that he died o_0

I think he has actually died, I did a google news search and there were lots of reports minutes old saying he had died.

Does anyone else get the feeling that it could be a fake - and that he just wants to escape and not be a celebrity anymore?
Just wait for the conspiracy theories to start flooding out, like they did and still do with Elvis.-
No, I think this is the real thing.
In fact, I think he is dead but his family is not yet ready to make a statement and that is why the news networks aren't reporting it yet. -

I just think he's someone who has/had a lot of baggage and the only way that he could find peace and live a life away from the public eye would be to fake his own death. Im sure he has enough money left to live in hiding quite comfortably until he really does die.
Either may he must have known something was up with things like the auction he was holding that he pulled the plug on, and then the concerts he had planned and pulled the plug on some of those. Something must have been up that he knew of.

I hope he is finally at peace--he was obviously such a tortured soul.
And I have to say, I viewed his life as a tragedy long before this terrible news.-

I'm sorry this has hit you hard, ST. MJ was never really my thing--you know--I was that punk rocker and his music was never dark enough for me. But I did appreciate what a great talent he was.

LA Times is confirming.

I just turned on ABC news and it has this banner that says watch live coverage. I clicked it and all it shows is a bunch of reporters standing around chit chatting, drinking coffee, basically acting like the cameras aren't on.
I think the video of them standing around waiting for a public announcement with helicopters flying overhead is like a weird little peek into what the news is really about: a lot of waiting around. -
Some people are really bad taste - I've just received a joke e-mail about michael jacksons death. Waaaay too soon!!

My local ABC station just confirmed Michael Jackson has died.
CBS just confirmed. -
These great and talented people gave so much of themselves to entertain us, we the American people and the rest of the world. Do we ever think about the price they pay to try to bring smiles to our faces or to fill our entertainment cards? We all would do well in thanking them and praying for their journey ahead and especially for their families. I am very grateful for their wonderful personalities and their love of their audiences. I still can't believe MJ has passed away. Whatever people say he is an Icon a kind of Elvis. It just hard to believe. Farrah Fawcet was unbeaten as one of the Angels. It's another shocking news. It's a great lose about Ed McMahon as well. Strange feeling when you realize they gone. Rest in Peace. -

I said yesterday it alawys happens in three's who's next? This was a stock. I watched the Farah special last night and was really emotional. I forgot about David Carradine so that's four.
