    lol

Considering that article was published about a year ago - no. The world is not coming to an end because of the Large Hadron Collider. The claims that the LHC is in any way dangerous were unfounded, and made by sensationalist scientist who didn't have much credibility to begin with. The LHC does pretty much the same thing the sun has been doing for the last couple of million years, just with a lot less energy than the sun.

But that doesn't mean it's not coming to an end. The end as we know it is due this fall. I've written a lot about that. It's more likely than not with all of the signs. Are you ready?

I've stated this several times before. The World has already ended! We live in a virtual world. The game is to figure out why and when. It's fun. But exasperating.

Of course we are living in a virtual world! Haven't you guys heard of the Matrix?

*Morpheus' voice* Now, do you want the blue pill or the red pill?
    2. Rhettlyle12
can i take both pills plus the painkillers? I like pills. While we are on pills, maybe Morpheus killed Michael Jackson?

Maybe the end of the world is just a metaphor for the change and progress, sometimes bloody progress, as the earth becomes more like heaven.

No absolutely not. Humanity will exist for ever. But 2012 is an important year for the world. I expect major destruction on December 21st 2012. But Earth is too young to die now.

Here is a very interesting blog on this topic with a video.
