Who among you are using it? Do you find it helpful (say, in traffic and PR)?

Did it help you in your blog or not at all?

Thanks for the reply. While I was hoping that we can discuss that topic here, it appears that we won't be able to. Anyway, chances are someone will give me an insight.

No, they won't it is impolitic. I stopped using entrecard for various reasons. It takes a lot of time plus it gives you traffic, but not high quality traffic.

i just started using entrecard about two weeks ago and so far i'm very happy with the results. yes, it does take a lot of time and the traffic is not high quality, but if you have good content, then some people will really stick around and read.

my blog is still very new (a bit over a month) and i think it is much more effective for blogs that have just hit the scene just to simply get your name out there.

    good luck mate!

I'm happy with Entrecard. It does not affect the PR as well.

I love it! It brings 30 readers a day so far

I'm using it, I'm not getting a ton of views yet but it has improved! If you are considering it go for it!

Entrecard doesn't bring in readers of sorts, more like 2 second droppers. Bad for bounce rate.

I have over 40k in EC credits which I am willing to sell, I don't bother with EC anymore, waste of time. Spend all your time 'dropping', stumble is far more effective.

Well I don't get any traffic from stumbleupon.com unless I send pages to my contacts.
Google brings 10 visitors per day, which is pretty lousy.
I get 90% of my traffic from subscribers, discussion fora and facebook.
5% from Blocatalog.com, and the rest from Entrecard, Google.

Entrecard is great to discover new blogs
I had some discussions about my blog. I often go back to blogs I droped on and write a comment. I also stumble most of these blogs.
      I don't drop if I don't like.
So it's not entirely true to say that you get only junk traffic. I'm a reader and I don't stay 3 seconds.

There are people that are really snobby about entrecard and how bad it is. I joined a month ago...
yep, lots of people drop cards, my bounce rate has gone up (which is not so good)
BUT I have connected with some people within my niche area that I would have struggled to meet any other way. I have a few readers that found me via entrecard..
I don't drop crazy amounts of cards, I just do my own thing....
I have also found more BC members that I have mutual interests with that in almost 8 months of reading this forum. I didn't even know they were here...

EC isn't bad, it's just a case of how one manages their time most effectively with regards to blogging. If dropping 50-300 drops a day works for you then great. The question boils down to the quality of the drops you then receive for all your clicking efforts.

May I suggest www.twellow.com, a great site for helping you build up your twitter following.

I registered there, but haven't really taken the time to explore the place yet. It seems like the sort of site people either love or hate.

There are plenty of twitter SMO sites out there, take your pick. The point of the exercise is to easily find people who shares the same passions as yourself. Hence twitter can be quite an effective tool if utilized correctly.

Not that I know, being as I only get 4 visitors a day to my blog :-)

    Please explain. I'm new here.

i think its not useful so i just cut it from my blog

I think entrecard helps to boost traffic to your blog. But don't stick to only one blog community. try others like blogcatalog or mybloglog and leave comments. I found this technique very effective.

yep. entrecard will make your alexa go down. however, you will spend a whole bunch of time visiting blogs you don't care about in order to get other webmasters to return the favor, and they won't care much about your site any more than you do theirs. Ultimately, I found it a waste of time and these days get most of my visitors from search results.
