Who Will Win EPL this Season?
I had to biased here. My choice is Man Utd. I fancy Liverpool to challenge all the way provide that Stevie G stays fit. I rule out Arsenal & A. Villa. Sorry guys, but you are welcome to present your case here. Chelsea? might be but I prefer not to put my bet on the ageing Chelsea side. What say you?

with man utd already in semis of league cup and very much in the running in the other competition, will we see a new history created at the end of the season?

hah, i've seen man u in more promising performances only to see them get knocked out! too soon to tell - football can be quite unpredictable, after all... but my fingers are crossed all the same, lol.

It is Chelsea for me. Liverpool will be distracted with the absence of Gerrard. Manchester United should take second. The only tight competition should be for 4th. Arsenal and Villa. Although I am an Arsenal fan I would say Villa would take the European spot.

Wow, surprise to hear that especially from an Arsenal fan. Don't you think it is too early for Arsenal to give up their title hope? I thought Arsenal have a decent squad and Nasri seems to an able replacement for Fabregas.

Yes, I know the Arsenal fans have to be optimistic, but on the other hand you have to be realistic. They are ten points behind the leaders halfway through the season and for me it could double by the end. Obviously I don't want that to happen but I am being realistic. Fabregas, Walcott, Rosicky, Eduardo, Toure are all injured and Wenger is looking for a replacement(especially for Fabregas, sice his injury is a long term one). Unless he brings in someone like Arshavin, Senna or Alonso, the Gunners would have some chance of challenging the title. As you said Nasri is a replacement for Fabregas. Nasri is a LM he cannot play in the centre, he wouldn't play at his best. Even if he does, who will play on the left? United, Chelsea and Liverpool seem invincible(except when they are playing Arsenal), they are winning each game comfortably, meanwhile arsenal are struggling in all their matches, may it be against liverpool or stoke city. They are on a winning run, but i think it could end soon. Liverpool have opened up a gap so all they have got to do is concentrate. One slip and they will hand over the title to United or Chelsea. Anyways, GO GUNNERS!!!

I saw Nasri playing in the centre for Arsenal & he's doing ok. But, I agree with you pushing nasri to the centre will create problem on the right since Walcott is out. But on the left, I thought Carlos Vela is a good player. Very good left foot.
I think the problem with Arsenal is in the defence. Toure & Gallas used to be rock solid but not anymore. Plus, u need a good goal keeper.

Vela's original position is Striker. Again if he plays in the midfield, he might be good, but he wouldn't be comfortable. An ideal midfield for now would be Nasri on the left, Diaby and Denilson in the center and Eboue on the right. If not that, Wenger could bring in Ramsey, Wilshere, or even go with a 4-3-3 to sort this problem out. I'm sorry hydir, I don't think even with Hiddink around, Chelsea will be able to mount serious challenge this season. Scolari is not a bad couch. The players @ Chelsea is either have past their primes or just not good enough. Essien & Makalele has been major force behind their success over the past 3 seasons & they are not around this season and that's hurt Chelsea very much. Drogba is a pale shadow of a player he was 2 years ago while Joe Cole has not featured much this season. Man Utd to win this season.

I don't want to comment much but have to wait and watch Hiddink first match in-charge against Villa tomorrow. Than we can see whether Chelsea can mount back to title challenge although it will be extremely difficult..
btw .. Essien will be back in March ... he is our driving force from the back..really miss him ... Obi mikel can't fill his shoes constantly

I'm a Liverpool fan and I hope Liverpool will win the title
But I've gt a feeling it's Cheslsea's year. They look strong and under Ancelotti they will improve despite being an ageing side.
You can never rule out Arsenal and United do know how to obtain results - Ronaldo and Tevez leaving will have an effect which is because of which they won't win the title...
United Liverpool and Arsenal will be up there figthing
