Do you know how to use Google to do searches? I'm sure if you do a search you will find an answer to your question.

Do you know how to use the BC Search utility? If you use it you can locate esty blogs. www.blogcatalog.com/search

    All results www.blogcatalog.com/topic/esty/
    Blog tags www.blogcatalog.com/tag/esty/

Your BC Profile page reveals that you already have an esty shop of your own and a blog dedicated to it.

Uhh...thanks timethief. But uh. I guess I was trying to bring up conversation even if they don't stay on discussion boards. There are plenty of new people on blogger...

FWIW this category is intended to be used for posting questions about how to use Blog Catalog features and utilities, etc.

I have already posted the BC search link and the search results for you. Now all you have to do is to connect with the other esty marketers (related blogs), leave meaningful comments on their posts, and form networking relationships with them -- VOILA!

If you need help you are welcome to join the BC New User Group. The group has been created for the purpose of posting resource threads to the group noticeboard aimed at introducing bloggers, who are new members of BC, to the basics of effective networking and blog promotion within the BC community. And you don't have to be a "new" member to join it. All members are welcome. www.blogcatalog.com/group/new-blog-catalog-users/discuss

Best wishes for effective networking at BC.

Whoops. Yes. I see what you mean. I accidentally selected the wrong category at the drop menu. I apologize. Thank you for pointing it out! Of course, you could have tried to sound a little less condescending (the first sentence of your comment prior to updating).

It's all right. You are a much better writer than I could ever be!

I'm aware that not perfect when it comes to my use of language phraseology. That's why once my eyes re-focus I look at what I typed and I edit it where required. I also rely members like you to help me become improve. Thanks so much for your correction. I appreciate it.

Etsy ... etsy ... sounds like an Ubuntu code name. Etsy Earthworm.
    1. Thumbelyna
Ubuntu was interesting but difficult for me to navigate. Course I never got into code names or anything. Guess I've been spoiled by Microsoft and Mac...
    2. Friday13
So have I (by Microsoft), but most of the stuff I use is open source and it's only the operating system that I'll need to switch. But my permanent move to Linux is still a year or two away!
    3. Thumbelyna
I'm afraid the only thing I have from opensource is Neo Office. My fiance made several attempts at converting to Linux, but it proved a bit tougher than expected.

Thrift shop, your stuff is amazing! I am now following
    4. Friday13
Well, people should stick to whatever works! I'm only planning to switch because Windows doesn't work as well for me as it once did.

Yup-- I've gotten some interesting things off of Etsy. One is through a steampunk jewelry artist who is also here on BlogCatalog.

    steampunkrings.blogspot.com/

And another does quirky Gothic illustration folk art

    www.reverieart.blogspot.com/

I actually try not to spend too much time on Etsy lest I find something I want (or need rather... NEED. )

My sister has some paper mache chairs listed on Etsy.
    2. Friday13
Nice work! I like the spider. And those clocks by Diarment, very well done.

I'm a big fan of steampunk.
    3. ThriftShopRomantic
@Friday- yep, she's getting pretty creative with the things she's making now. It used to just be rings. Now it's all sorts of stuff.

Guess we'd better move this discussion to another board. Sorry for leading people astray!

Not to worry. There's a Shameless Blog Promotion category that you can use to promote your esty blog in. I visited your blog and you have an attractive selection of knitting, crochet, beading and fiber arts. Well done.
    2. Thumbelyna
That category sound so wrong to me. Didn't want to promote my blog, but rather find others. Aw, well. Here goes.
    3. timethief
Oh well, what can I say?
FWIW I reviewed your photography blog.

Maybe posting a general discussion thread to share tips on photographing esty creative projects would be workable for you.
    4. Thumbelyna
That's what I've typically done. I'm not sure how I slipped and selected BC Questions instead of General Discussion. I think I was going to fast...:/ Guess I have to slow down a bit for my own good.
