i try not to believe 'haunting stuff' or ghost until this moment... but since i've seen it so many times.. sooo... (bit difficult to explain it)

    sigh

    2. genopianist54
I don't know where too start Dree... to many experiences, for starter... yesterday i slept at 3:00am (insomnia problem as usual)... just where i'm about to turn off the lights off... it passes me, big dark black silhouette something, walking penetrated through the wall, and i've seen that so many times, it didn't matter anymore..

Couple of months ago... your so called *KUNTILANAK meander off near my neighborhood, haunts some of the security guard near my house at midnight... one of the security guard told my servant that he threw a bottle of mineral water to the ghost, and it penetrated through that KUNTILANAK's body, the ghost get angry and then puff (she gone) and then (puff) she appeared in a distance... long story short, the young fellow of my neighborhood, including me decided to ghost hunting... :( and guess what?

We succeeded to take a picture of your so called *POCONG instead of *KUNTILANAK from my friend's camera (miu Olympus 410 - night mode with flashes) at 1:48am

I'm still trying not to believe this kind of stuff despite of my own experiences, because some people i know might've think I’m crazy or foolish or whatever... just because i can see some of this 'un-described spirit' who has a totally different world than us the human. But since we have one evident that proves the existence of ghost/evil spirit (?) I take my chance to show it to you...

believe it or not... we have to touch up the picture little bit with lighting contrast to show the (#$%^&**)

and... i will never ever again ghost hunting, no way!
    3. genopianist54
that round circle light is NOT a DIRT or FUNGUS on the lens.. the camera is brand new... my friend just bought it three days ago..

Anyway.. sometimes hun, if we take a pic in the darkness using flash.. there might be any same light-marked (lens flare) as your pic. But hey, who knows?
    6. genopianist54

my uncle shoot it with a different camera... Nikon D-30x

    7. genopianist54
the weird thing is this head figure.. it has shadows (?) me and my uncle who responded to the picture and look at the scene - look at the LCD camera - look at the scene - look at the LCD camera... we can't came up with any reason until now.. and the whitey-white on the left.. (i don't wanna start with that one)

      i don't know and i don't care bye bye ghost... ... ...

I've never experienced anything "haunted" personally. Not to say it can't happen, just have no personal experience with it.
  4. nibbie03
I am haunted all the time, especially in my dreams.

As for ghosts, most definitely. I believe they are all around us; mostly when we take showers : )
    1. kdawg68
"they mostly come at night, mostly."

lmao saved me from saying it
  6. Cat
Yes i believe in spirits (ghosts). I've heard them, and had one almost push me off a bench in a park once. Maybe I would have been scared if i hadn't been so pissed off. i think they are all around us all the time.
  7. dpasquella
My parents' house was and still is haunted by what we believe to be the past owners of the place, as well as an old man who died on our front doorstep (old age)...

Weird things happened, but I'm sure it could also be debunked.
  8. claudiorodval
I personally do not believe... but I have heard really creepy stories.
My girlfriend a couple of years ago started seeing woman standing next to her bed at midnight (at that time she had a friend from an Arabic country) and he explained her about genies en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genie Anyway she my gf says she only spoke to the woman once and after that she stopped being afraid of her... she saw her almost for 6 months at least twice per week.
I have other friends who claimed that they saw ghosts too.
I had a student, he was 7 years old and he told me that he knew when people was going to die... never really believed him... but all the other teachers were super afraid of him, so he liked to spend his breaks with me, and he told me some wild stuff.
  9. kdawg68
I don't talk about this stuff in public, but yes, I've had plenty of experiences.

I still believe that there are more "haunted minds" than "haunted houses", but I've had my fair share of experiences enough to convince me that yes, ghosts exist.
  10. Cat
anybody ever watch "ghost hunters" on the sci fi channel? most of the stuff they did was lame but a couple of things they caught on video were very spooky. One in particular was the light house where they caught a figure moving around on the top of the stairs. very amazing footage. its on u-tube but isn't as clear to see as when shown on tv. (ah, i miss having cable tv.)
  11. dreesyach
to nibbie03: "mostly when we take showers".. is that your experience?

to DOUGGOFFdotCOM: which (or what) ghost did you mention here?

to kdawg68: thanks anyway for sharing.

to claudiorodval: Genie, yes, I've heard that also. Wow, he has a six sense tho! But still (I think) no one can read when the death's coming.

to Cat: Yes, I've seen it in discovery channel "A Haunted"..
  12. robinj
I think haunting is an over the top hollywood term which has no relevance to what actually is happening at all its the fear of the unknown the lack of knowledge that creates these myths
there is nothing spooky about it and people who promote it as such have a vested interest in keeping you hooked
if you accepted the spiritual world as another facet of our existance then the hype would not be there
  13. dpasquella
Cat: I watch Ghost Hunters all the time, and the thing I like about them most of all is that they "debunk" everything and also come to the obvious conclusions that a possible "orb" may have been just a dust particle instead of tricking their audience for more ratings. I like them a lot. More credible than most.
    1. dreesyach
yes, at least there's a beating heart and rush adrenaline when we see ghost hunters on film.. viva movie goers!
  14. offendedblogger
No and I've always wished to have a ghost or a poltergeist or SOMETHING come visit me. No aliens have even attempted an abduction either.

I mean, why am I not good enough? I see those people who get haunted and abducted and I am much better looking and nicer and funnier.

Ugh. I am blogging this now, because it really offends me!
    1. kdawg68
They say they are afraid of something that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die.

      Couldn't resist.
    2. offendedblogger
      HAAAAAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA that's not funny.

OK, it is and so true!! I scare myself sometimes!
    3. dreesyach
      you wish!

Were to start. I don't think my parents' or Grandparents' houses are exactly 'haunted' but there have been a few instances. The ones at my parents' house usually got my Dad taking out the holy water. Better safe than sorry.

The one at my Grandparents' house that I personally experienced was more a greeting than anything else. Someone said 'hi.' It wasn't Grandpa and he was the only other person there at the time. He also said that when he and Grandma moved in the same thing happened to them, on separate occasions. The house is the old family homestead, so it's possible some of the relatives stayed behind to greet their descendants. (I say some because Grandma and I heard a male voice and Grandpa heard a female voice.)

So, yeah, I think ghosts do exist and hauntings are quite possible.
  16. dreesyach
Does anyone has more story to tell?

to offendedblogger: Scare of your self?! LOL

to brigid: Mm, maybe they love to live in your family's house, don't they? (kiddin). Thanks for your story.
    1. brigid
You're welcome. ^_^ My family does seem to attract minor incidences.

I'm trying to sell a possessed website.

  18. GrimlyFiendish
Lived in two houses that were haunted and on several occasions things have happened with witnesses present. I one house things happened so frequently we ended up naming the so-called ghost Bernard. Every time we invited Bernard to join us though whatever was taking place would stop. Go figure.

I think the term Ghosts is too broad though. If we were going to be creative on the subject then paranormal events could be anything from entities to folded space and temporal echoes.

Personally, I have no opinion per se on the subject as I dont know the universe and its workings that well. Anything is possible though.
    1. dreesyach
to GrimlyFiendish: you can invite a ghost? or invited him just by coincidence?? so then, I'd like to listen for your share of thoughts and thanks for your concern.
    2. GrimlyFiendish
We named the 'it' for fun. We thought it was unusual that every time we invited it to join us and called it by the name we had chosen, it stopped. Maybe it wanted to be taken seriously.
Lived in an old hotel for a number of years and the ghost there used to stop people on the stairs and tell them to go a different way and turn taps an lights on. The cleaning staff used to get really cheesed off with her. The strange thing about that one though was that incidents only happened in the original part of the building not the newer extension. It was later found out through historical records that the description of the apparition matched that of a serving girl that was struck and killed by a coach horse in the 1700’s. She was brought wounded into the hotel and later died.
    3. brigid
She probably didn't go into the new part of the hotel because for her it didn't exist. Ghosts for some reason are usually limited to the areas that existed when they were alive.
    4. GrimlyFiendish
This seems to be the case in quite a few documented incidents. Spirits seem to be restricted to specific places.
As another point of interest though, the case of the Roman patrol that was seen passing through someones cellar would appear to be a temporal echo or spacial fold. If spirits of the dead do indeed haunt us then they would be capable of interaction with our world and non repetative action. The Roman haunting seems to be like a loop of film playing over and over.
    5. gosmelltheflowers
Poor girl. Maybe Bernard was a shy ghost and wouldn't join you on account of embarrassment that he'd been discovered.
    6. brigid
There's the temporal loop sort, too. Those aren't actually spirits so much as the emotional imprints of an event on a place. Usually these only happen when very strong emotions are involved. Why a simple march by a Roman legion would be imprinted I don't know. Any idea what the history is?
  19. TinyMantras
I lived in a house where one of the former residents had killed himself. There were a lot of strange events there, so I was never really sure, but a lot of visitors felt that there was DEFINITELY a ghost.

I wrote a long post about it on my blog, right around Christmas:

    tzt.blogspot.com/2007/12/cleaning-up-suicide-chalet.html
  20. netboy
yes !!! .. visited a ghost house !!!... we play cricket near the ghost house!!!...

if u believe in god there is no need to be scared of a ghost !!!!
    1. genopianist54
I believe in God, but still i'm scared of ghost...

i'm scared of robbers too, scared of criminal who follows you in the middle of the night, scared of my older sister when she's angry

but most of all, i scared of God's wrath! HOhohoho...
    2. genopianist54
aw. crap. i thought i've edited the sentence...

let me revised my typings ==> scared of criminal who followed me in the middle of the night.. hehehe.. pardon my english, haven't test TOEFL
    3. dreesyach
Yep, the last is the best answered.

Nah.. as long as ppl can understand your english, that's okay.. we were not born in English mother tongue's country.

same problem with me hun..

      sorry ppl!
  21. cpupulse
No, but don't get me wrong I believe in the human spirit our souls and that they roam the earth until judgement day. But I don't think that there is any actual hauntings that have been to the extreme to say that they have bothered people so much that they would leave a house or some other type of dwelling. I think most of it is in peoples head. The mind likes to play tricks on people sometimes. Not to mention the media loves to blow things out of proportion.
  22. dreesyach
to GrimlyFiendish: Wow, seems that you're more eligible to post this discussion than me

to TinyMantras: anyway nice blog! spooky story..

to netboy: so what's the story then? just to say.. playing cricket near by ghost house? lol.. Yep, U're right.. A life lived in fear/scared with 'somethin' is a life half lived.

to cpupulse: Yes, I agree.. sometimes media blowing out things too irony. But for sure, even it is hard to believe - I have to admit that my country has so many cultural backgrounds, religions, believes, legends, myths and urban stories or you may say un-natural stories which were really happening back in the old century. This brings us to so many black powers and some of bad peoples can use those black powers to awakening the death by controlling their evil spirit. Maybe because all of these; believes, traditions and cultural backgrounds, those can trigger powerful evil spirits to annoyed the living human.

    *LEAK-->>Online Image Hosting
    *POCONG-->>Online Image Hosting
    *GENDERUWO-->>Online Image Hosting

Just like ‘Pocong’ the anxious scary evil spirit likes to annoy the living just for fun and ‘Sundel Bolong’ the angered evil spirit filled with revenge purposes, this type of evil spirit likes to take your soul to the grave just to accompany them. ‘Buto Ijo’ or ‘Genderuwo’ some bad person tries to keep and raise them just to butcher their enemy’s soul and ‘Kuntilanak’ or ‘Leak’ they said that this type of evil spirit likes to targeted a baby newly born to keep them more powerful in the other side of this living world.

Believe it or not? It's all yours! *Don't ask me where I get those pics.. lol

When I was out of university I let the large top 3rd floor flat in a three story house from a very elderly Polish woman. I moved in, with the necessary furniture and kitchen and dining items, and quickly made myself at home.

It wasn't long after moving in that I found my orderly pantry a little rearranged. Overtime I would find other things moved. Then I discovered little things disappeared. Nothing important, but missing. I never found anything that went missing, after any thorough search.

It was an interesting old house. It was clear that the bathroom had been upgraded decades before through a compromize: I had to go through the pantry to get to it. It had no shower, but thank goodness a great deal of hot water for a bath everyday. One particular afternoon, I drew the water, and prepared my clothes to go out that evening to a night club. Jumping into the hot water, I slid down to my chin and enjoyed the soothing heat.

After a few moments I thought I heard someone walking in the kitchen. I stayed still, listening carefully. I heard footsteps again. I called out, 'Is anyone there?' There was no reply. A moment later the footsteps could be heard in the pantry, then stop. It was a complete curiosity to me. In deed, it wasn't surprising after things moving and missing so many incidental things over the brief months.

Then there were two steps on the old floor into the bathroom and I heard a brush against the towel hanging on the wall to the tub's left. Now I was surprised; the towel was moving back and forth then stopped. And the footsteps ceased.

Many more things occurred in this old flat in the time I remained. Not at anytime was I ever frightened. In fact, I considered the presence of this entity acceptable. And, no matter whatever or whomever it was, more remarkable, in fact more incredible, things occurred over time.

(This is not fiction; the story is true.)
  27. aliasinkhorn
@ Netboy, you are very correct.
  28. dano
Yeah once about 20 years ago. Happened as I just got into bed around 3 am. Heard dogs in neighborhood howling and next thing I felt something pressing down on me. Couldn't shout or move and breathing was difficult. Creepy!

Why yes, yes I was haunted, for almost 15 years. (Though some people would call it marriage.)

Only haunted by the nagging fear of failure and impending sense of disenfranchisement....anyhoo....

Oh yes, and the poltergeist that criticises my choice of home furnishings by re-arranging my kitchen every few hours.

I live in a house that just had it's 200 'birthday'. I've lived there for 5 years now. During the first couples years however I did notice a few spots in my house where I felt uneasy. Many times when I would be at home, alone, at night (of coarse), I would be watching TV and out of the corner of my eye I could swear I saw a hazy human figure in our foyer. It was always out of the corner of my eye though, so I usually dismissed it. It did happen quite often though.

Another thing that would always happen to me in my house was a feeling I'd get on the basement stairs. I lived in the basement during high school, and this basement was creepy- I mean down right eerie, but that wasn't what actually bothered me. The only place that made me feeling terrified were the stairs going from the basement to the first floor. The basement stairs led up to a door that opened onto the first floor a few feet from the foyer where I'd always see the white hazy figures.

I never thought too much of it because I didn't believe I would ever get to see a ghost.

That idea all changed when my step mom one day told me a story about an old man that lived in the house two owners previously. I know this sounds typical, but I couldn't make this up. Also, please note, I never really told anyone about these feelings because I thought it was just me being stupid. Anyway, she told me that this man had died in the house. At this point in her story I thought right away of the hazy figure I kept saying.

She told me she had found out that the old man died when the house fire happened (there are still char marks up in the attic from this fire). What had happened was that he was asleep up stairs when he noticed smoke filling up the house. He came down stairs, in the foyer and went to open up the basement door. When he opened it, he took a few steps down before all the air that poured in when he opened the door caused the flames to ignite and blow up the stairs. The flames engulfed him and he was found dead trying to crawl out of the door through the foyer.

When I told my exboyfriend this he was completely creeped out because the only two places he ever felted anxious and uneasy where those exact two places. The foyer and the basement steps. Oh, and he's not a whiney, fearful guy either. He's a marine and I promise you isn't afraid of much. I still can't believe how that story matched up with my feelings so well. That's the scariest part.

I don't believe ghost not until i see one.
