Exhausted, Moving - and WOW!!!

Topics: leaving in less than 24 hours, miss ya all already, see ya in a bit, take care, Yay!

Sometime today - we shut off our cable and tomorrow morning we head out on the Ferry.

Kodiak has been beautiful, sweet and terrible at the same time for my life.

It's bittersweet because I'm excited about leaving and at the same time sad to be leaving my daughter with her father... and leaving friends of over a decade.

We have packed - and repacked... We had to show our condo for a week - so our packing was done all at once - and then redone after we sold.

We have cleaned every nook and cranny and will clean again - for those of you who didn't see my house - I have white carpet.

(Hint - don't do it - never put white Berber Carpet down ever - ever ever...)

Anyhow - the cats have not been helpful in all this.

The hubby is a lazy bum... No -- LMAO - not really - he's just tired and exhausted mentally and physically like me.

And once we get off the ferry we will be driving the ALCAN highway - and then stopping in Washington State near Portland.

Then...

After a day or two visiting with family - we'll be heading out to Maine.

If anyone wants to drop a phone number or anything in my shout box - if you're on the Google Maps --- or near Maine --- and want Tea with a BLEARY EYED Driver, her husband and 3 cats in a packed cramped HHR... Let me know - and I'll check my email and stuff when we get to Kelso!

I hope you have a safe trip! The friend who was renting from me just spent the last week or so moving out to the new house she bought, and I saw first-hand what an endeavor it can be.
