    look away from the screen.

i know, i know, it doesn't help once you've already dried out your eyes, however, you should take microbreaks from the computer screen constantly.

Once you've forgotten and dried them li'l ole eyeballs out, my favourite course of action is to simply close my eyes for a while. when you do open them, don't go back to the computer screen right away or do anything else that involves close sight or a lot of visual attention to detail. let your eyes relax and recuperate and keep taking longish breaks to close your eyes again.

. In Chinese medicine eyes and liver go together. Put a plant next to your computer, paint the wall green and use a green desktop. Green is the colour for the liver. So take care of your liver, it will help your eyes.

Take abreak every 20 minutes. Look out at something a fgair distance away.

If worse comes to worst, computer = boat anger. ( law of repulsion)

just tilt the screen on the left or right so that the screen is not directly facing you........you can also use an anti-glare screen.........take a break after every half an hour..........

    AFTER JUST AN HOUR???

Try 12-16 hours staring at a computer. Sometimes, my vision is affected when the sunlight goes away .. even though the lighting in the room doesn't appear to be different.

They have computer eyeglasses now ... "which include a computer tint, UV tint, anti-reflective coating and possibly a prism" well, according to an article I posted on one of my blogs last week..

i'm pretty sure he meant "long hours"

i've had the "computer package" tints/coatings on my glasses for several years now. no prism on mine, but then, they are my regular glasses!

Your eye needs exercise too.. do take frequent breaks and "play" with your eyes..
Also a special spectacle to be used only when viewing your monitor might be helpful in the long run..

Else, I can understand your pain, I had a lot of these and man it's a very difficult thing to withstand in daily life.

But now this has been minimised by just the practical tips I told you in my first para.. also make sure you get out of your walls and get a bit of sunshine This is very important..
